In our quest to eradicate zits we’ve tried our fair share of pimple-busting products—with mixed results. This radical serum may very well be The One. The doctor-developed formula penetrates the skin, going straight to the source to eliminate trapped bacteria, dirt, and oil to restore damaged skin. It gets the job done quickly and gently, without irritating or over-drying your skin. The patent-pending YS3 Complex delivers blemish-banishing ingredients, like tea tree oil and salicylic acid, beneath the skin’s surface. Willow bark extract reduces inflammation and redness. Bonus: The serum also tackles surface scars and hyperpigmentation.
It honestly took the redness out of blemishes...right away! OK the redness would creep back in after a few hours but it was great to minimize the bright redness, even if I had to reapply during the day.5
This is a nice gel product that smells strongly of tea tree oil. I like that's it's light and can be put on quickly under makeup. Seems to be effective also.4
This isn't different from any other comparable salicylic acid product I've used, but it works pretty well.4
This witch hazel cream really does nothing to prevent blemishes. It's like a greasy astringent. Not a fan.2
I get large monthly zits every time I get my cycle and sometimes in between. I put the serum on - like the tea tree smell, a couple of times through out day. Sometimes over or under makeup depending when I remembered. It is great because it is clear so it made no difference. My zits were nowhere near as painful, they were gone in half the time, and there was no redness and scabbing in the final stages - will absolutely be buying this product. I look forward to trying the other evologie products as well5
I don't usually use a serum, but this has made me reconsider! I would dab a little on any blemish or red spot, and within 30 minutes, the spot would be less noticeable.5
Good spot treatment. Saw improvement after 2 uses but the texture is grainy and white cakey color does not go well with daily wear, so only useful at nighttime4
I think this formula is too strong yet it didn't make a difference in my blemish. It left a sting-y feeling on my face.2
This product worked really well on a few blemishes that popped up randomly. I usually get a few pimples when I am PMS'ing and I typically just spot treat them. This product was able to get rid of the pimples entirely within 3 days. It definitely decreased them the first 2 days and when I woke up day 3 they were COMPLETELY gone. I only used it to spot treat so it didn't dry my skin or irritate it in any way. I would definitely recommend this to others!5
Just in time for the arrival of this sample in my Birchbox, I developed a zit on my chin, about the size of a helicopter landing pad. So I had a chance to put the product to the test. I noticed the smell of tea tree oil right away, which is rather strong, but I don't mind it too much. I dabbed the product on the area 2-3 times a day and noticed the it had good antiseptic and drying qualities. It did not take away the redness any more than any other spot treatment, but it helped speed up the healing process. It did not help the appearance of leftover red marks from previous blemishes though.4
