In our quest to eradicate zits we’ve tried our fair share of pimple-busting products—with mixed results. This radical serum may very well be The One. The doctor-developed formula penetrates the skin, going straight to the source to eliminate trapped bacteria, dirt, and oil to restore damaged skin. It gets the job done quickly and gently, without irritating or over-drying your skin. The patent-pending YS3 Complex delivers blemish-banishing ingredients, like tea tree oil and salicylic acid, beneath the skin’s surface. Willow bark extract reduces inflammation and redness. Bonus: The serum also tackles surface scars and hyperpigmentation.
So I was skeptical about this but since I happened to be having a major breakout when I got this in my bb, I tried it thinking, well I had nothing to lose. I applied it 3 times that day to all new pimples. The next day, only 2 remained and they had faded considerably. It worked! Awesome! I may just purchase this product.4
it's a thin, easy to apply serum, perfect for both spot treatments as well as over the entire face. This product has a refreshing Tea Tree scent which can sometimes lead to a little stinging/flushing, however, if you follow this product with a good, soothing moisturizer you should be fine. It fades acne scars and diminishes discoloration as well as drying out blemishes.5
Not so much on evening the dark spots but does help acne5
Ironically I received this sample the day I discovered a blemish! Works ok I guess. My skin tends to clear itself up so I don't think I have much use for this.5
I've used other spot-treatments, but this is by far the best. It works super fast when used correctly.5
I have previously purchased this product from birchbox and was glad to have it return in a sample. It was a good product and I considered buying it again but was currently trying a different brand. Perhaps this sample will turn me back to the evologie brand.4
Very lightweight, didn't dry my skin. I also liked how it seemed to soothe my redness from my acne.5
Most blemish serums or any creams or treatments targeting acne, scars, or blemishes in general, usually smell very strongly (in a bad way) and can sometimes burn my skin (if there happens to be an open wound of some sort). Unlike those others, this does smell strongly but not with a revolting smell: the smell is quite pleasant to me, consisting of a mixture of what smells like TeaTree Oil and Mint. It's a little too oily and runny for my taste, since I always seem to pour too much out, but it goes on my skin very smoothly and dries with a soft, velvety touch to it (unlike most blemish cremes that either dry hard/crusty/flakey or don't dry at all and just leave your skin gooey and smelling rancid.)4
I've used this 3 times at night. There is a light tea tree oil scent. I've applied it to blemishes and scars and haven't really seen an effect. Will continue to use it to see if it works.3
I didn't see much of an improvement with this. I have had success with the brand in the last though. Not much else to comment on, as there were no negative effects4
