Unlike the average drugstore stick, this ace sweat fighter banishes B.O. and fits into our daintiest clutches. A must between underarm shaving sessions, Whish’s single-use wipes both tackle unpleasant odors and (bonus points!) slow down hair growth. Soaked in smoothing oat extract, they’ll quickly join the ranks of your can’t-live-without-them purse essentials.
First, let me start by saying that I don't know if they are hair inhibiting. I haven't been using them long enough. I got three in a sample pack. I will say, however, that they are great as a swipe on deodorant. They do not leave marks like normal deodorant. The don't leave a strong smell like a normal scented deodorant, but they do have a pleasant smell. They make my underarms FEEL very dry as well. For lack of a better term, it feels "matte". And it worked ALL DAY (as opposed to some normal deodorants I've used). They are one-time use only, so that's a big downside because they are quite expensive. I look forward to using these more so I can see if they ultimately are hair inhibiting. I will say, I had laser hair removal in my underarms and still have "peach fuzz" so I'm hoping the hair inhibiting feature will help with that. Even without it though, I would highly recommend this product.4
I was impressed by this product --- smells very nice, great deodorant too!4
These were great to throw in my gym bag to use after a workout. They smelled nice and were super handy!4
I couldn't tell if this really works or not. I would have to use it over a longer period of time to see if it really inhibits hair growth.3
I really like this product and I really wanted it to work out. I used it for a week, it did a great job as far as deodorant. It even made the hair softer, but on day 5 I noticed I was started to get these red bumps on my armpit. I don't have sensitive skin, so I'm not exactly sure what caused it. My guess is that there just isn't any moisturizer in it. The smell of the wipes was lovely, and I never felt like I needed to reapply. I work in a restaurant so I can get pretty sweaty. If they somehow added more moisture to the wipes, I would probably never buy regular deodorant again.3
I've been looking for an aluminum-free deodorant and I've tried at least 12 different kinds. This seems to help with odor more so than many of the others. I like being able to keep a few of these in my purse if I need to re-apply. I haven't tried it long enough to speak to the hair inhibitor action. ( the small size of the packers are handy, for sure, but it makes me think of pink condom wrappers.)4
What's worse than reaching into your gym bag to use your deodorant, only to find that it has become a white, clumpy mess or oozed out onto your clothes? Yuck!
Whish wipes to the rescue! I just throw a few of these babies into my bag - easy peasy! The wipes cause no irritation to my sensitive skin and work great. I'm undecided on the scent - no bad, but not the greatest. I haven't noticed any difference with the growth inhibitor either, but they seem to do their primary job. I've purchased a few times.
I have only used four of the wipes so the efficacy of the hair inhibitor remains to be seen but the scent is delicate and the sensation of using a wipe is refreshing. I received these in a gift. Admittedly I wouldn't have even given them a shot otherwise as I'm a "natural deodorant snob".5
I haven't noticed any lessened hair growth, however I've only been using the wipes for a few days, however it really does help soften your armpit skin. As long as I'm not sweating, it keeps any odor at bay, but if I work-out or it's really hot outside - I will get pretty stinky. I've been using them at night before I go to bed and then using another deodorant in the morning.4
I purchased this- and LOVED the smell! I go to a boot camp in the mornings, so anything that smells great in the form of a wipe grabs my attention. I loved loved loved the scent.. I used it, thought I was golden... and broke out EVERYWHERE it touched! I do have sensitive skin, and something in this definitely did not work for me. A painful rash is not worth the trade off for great-smelling wipes... *sigh*.1
