Unlike the average drugstore stick, this ace sweat fighter banishes B.O. and fits into our daintiest clutches. A must between underarm shaving sessions, Whish’s single-use wipes both tackle unpleasant odors and (bonus points!) slow down hair growth. Soaked in smoothing oat extract, they’ll quickly join the ranks of your can’t-live-without-them purse essentials.
I received a sample in my box a few months ago. First, I thought, "What? Lame." Well, these are not lame!
I've used stick deodorant/anti perspirant for years. But, it always felt sticky no matter the brand so, I'd always dust my underarm with talc after the application. You can imagine the constant fine film all over my bathroom from doing that - not to mention white marks on my clothes.
And, in winter, my underarm hair grows really fast, but shaving a lot in winter dries out the skin.
So, with points, I bought a box of these. One towlette works for both arms, the smell is pleasant, it dries quickly WITHOUT BEING STICKY, I don' use powder so I save myself a mess and I go over a week without having to shave. I have used the product daily for going on three weeks.
Whish is one of my favorite brands, but I'm not loving this product. I didn't feel like the deodorant or sweat fighter was up to par. I like their hair inhibitor in their gel moisturizer, so that would probably be good in deodorant - just didn't feel deodorant/antiperspirant was as strong as it should have been.1
These whish samples are a wash. Application requires getting the whish solution on your hands- which is concerning because there is a hair-inhibiting agent in the solution. Even though I washed my hands after application, I was afraid to touch my hair and I was worried about what the solution would do to my silk blouse.
I don't think that the deodorant worked very well and I couldn't tell if the hair inhibitor worked either.
Do not understand how to use this - I swiped the little pad as directed but did not really feel any difference and am not sure if it worked. It's good in theory but not really in execution.1
A great idea in theory. They're perfect for keeping in your purse or car if you're on the go, but I wouldn't replace my regular deodorant with this. The sample doesn't allow you enough time to see if the hair growth slows down.3
I remembered that I had these samples one morning when I had run of deodorant. They made my armpits feel dry and there was stickiness or unpleasant armpit odor. It really felt like the same as wearing deodorant. Not sure about slowing down hair growth, and I wouldn't replace deodorant for these, but I think they are definitely great to have on hand in situations where you want to freshen up or don't have deodorant handy.4
There wasn't enough time to figure out if the hair inhibitor worked. But I did love the smell of the deodorant and the way it felt. It was awkward to apply (since it got on the hands) and I wish it lasted a little longer. But if the hair inhibitor worked it would be worth it.3
Honestly, I haven't tried this yet. I put it in my gym bag for emergency use. It sounds too good to be true., but I can't wait to give it a try!3
It did the trick in a pinch, but I prefer to just keep a mini deodorant in my purse for sweaty emergencies. I felt clean after using it, but not necessarily protected from future stank like I would be with regular deodorant. I can't really speak to the hair inhibiting factor as I only got the one swipe in my BirchBox and didn't notice any effect from the single use.2
Not sure what to think, Has not shown productive results in two weeks. I am going to keep using but not sure if these will work. Smells great though3
