A distinct take on Cartier’s Déclaration scent, Déclaration Essence builds upon the bestselling original. It features the same warm woody base but adds layers of fresh spices for an enticing finish. It’s sophisticated and sensual at the same time, making it a worthy addition to Cartier’s fragrance line—and ours.
My wife is in love with this smell. her eyes light up when she smells me when i am wearing it, she said I must buy the full size imediately!5
I love the smell, but I'm not exactly sure I am willing to spend over 100 bucks for it. I am also not a fan of the mini spray bottle, you only get like 5 sprays with them.3
I really liked this when I got it in my february box. It's not overly sweet or "girly" but it's not excessively rugged. I don't smell like i'm wearing a bottle of brut. It's got a nice almost sandalwood undertone. I really liked it!5
My boyfriend got a sample of this in his Birchbox, and I love how it smells! It's not overly strong, but the wood undertones are very sensual.5
Wasn't a fan. It was a very woodsy smell. Definitely not for me.1
Its ok. wouldn't wear it everyday. but it wasn't horrible. It does seem like when you put it on it smells a lot better than straight from the bottle.3
I am usually one for a lighter fragrance so this was a bit too overwhelming for me. The sample size was a good one but the price seems too steep. Wouldn't buy this personally but, again, i am not really one for wearing scents.2
I love cologne (have well over 50)
This smells straight out of an axe can (which is fine)
But for $105? this is not fine.
Also, Birchbox is tremendously overcharging for this...I feel like an idiot buying this for double the price of competitors.
