A distinct take on Cartier’s Déclaration scent, Déclaration Essence builds upon the bestselling original. It features the same warm woody base but adds layers of fresh spices for an enticing finish. It’s sophisticated and sensual at the same time, making it a worthy addition to Cartier’s fragrance line—and ours.
I'm not sure why I received this sample, I very rarely wear fragrances. I did try this out to see how it was and to be honest the smell was nice and it wasn't too overpowering. There was a crisp clean sense to it, but fragrances just are not for me.4
I wasn't completely opposed to this cologne, but it just didn't work well for me. Definitely not an awful smell by any means, but I would just prefer something that had a different smell.3
Not sure why, but I felt like I picked up a hint of baby oil smell in this fragrance..3
Got this sample in my first birch box, and was happy I did. Have gotten multiple complements on this scent, and may consider picking up a full size in the future.5
it smells nice. but i prefer jean paul g's le male.4
It really is a nice smell, but I only use Gucci pour home 2, if it was a little less expensive I might consider buying for the occasional use.4
The scent was fresh however it wasn't good enough to bump anything out of my current rotation.4
I enjoyed trying out this fragrance. The smell is quite nice, but it doesn't seem to last for long.5
I am not huge on fragrance so this was meh to me, way to costly3
This nifty little sample bottle has a very woody, smokey smell fragrance with bits of citrus scent. It's unlike any other cologne I've smelled. It doesn't have that 'old man cologne' smell yet it still has a pronounced sophistication aroma that tingles your olfactory senses. I'll be sure to use this one before a date!5
