We tend to gravitate toward products that have as many functions as Imelda Marcos has pairs of shoes. (Okay, that may be a slight exaggeration.) Beauty Protector's leave-in mist is about as versatile as they come. This paraben- and sulfate-free detangler seals the cuticles of each strand to smooth hair and moisturizes, which helps minimize frizz. It also provides protection against UV rays and heat, safeguards color, and adds shine. Happily, it accomplishes all this through a weightless, nongreasy formula that leaves behind an airy floral scent. Plus, its 100 percent vegan and suitable for all hair types.
One thing I don't like about getting hair samples is that I have to use the whole bottle on my thick hair. I didnt see a difference. Not sure if it was because I didnt have a lot to use.1
I honestly do not understand how so many people can like, no, love this product. I am going to sound super vain, but I have beautiful, dark, super thick, but not coarse, wavy hair. Most of the time I can just sleep on it and wake up ready to go.
I was intrigued when I received this product, I had actually almost bought it for myself because it had so many rave reviews. I applied Beauty Protecter after washing my hair and was instantly accosted by a scent that could have rivaled any of my 1990s Limited Too bubble baths. Then there was the way it made my hair feel - like straw. I thought, well maybe this is one of those products that feels weird until you apply heat. Nope. It just made my hair feel more like dead grass. Totally serious: I stopped what I was doing, and re-washed my hair because even if I could have dealt with how awful it made my hair feel, the smell was giving me a headache.
I was okay, but the smell was too sickly sweet & strong for me to handle. I ended up giving this to my mom.1
This sounded amazing to me but when I tried it it was a run of the mill product that dried my hair out. I need a more oil based hair product because my hair is already dry from all of the bleach and blow drying that I do to it regularly. This had no positive effect for me.1
Yeah yeah, it has a lot of buzzwords on the label, but I noticed no benefits. If anything it made me feel like my hair was dirtier. The scent could be improved on.1
I cant use products like this it makes my hair oily I know others loved this but I cant use it. I wish they made volumizer.1
I have bleached long hair, this product really didn't do anything for my hair, I would not reccommend this product.1
I didn't like the smell of this product or the texture of it. i didn't see a difference. Sad to say not for me!1
This product isn't good on curly mixed hair, i'm so over being sent these kinds of products.1
I've only been a Birchbox member for four months, and in three of those, I've gotten leave-in sprays. I think I have enough stuff to last me at least a little while, so I was disappointed to get more. Honestly, they all seem to work exactly the same. Also, just a couple boxes ago, I got shampoo and conditioner from this brand--and I wasn't a huge fan of their scent. This product has the same sweet candy smell I don't like.1
