We tend to gravitate toward products that have as many functions as Imelda Marcos has pairs of shoes. (Okay, that may be a slight exaggeration.) Beauty Protector's leave-in mist is about as versatile as they come. This paraben- and sulfate-free detangler seals the cuticles of each strand to smooth hair and moisturizes, which helps minimize frizz. It also provides protection against UV rays and heat, safeguards color, and adds shine. Happily, it accomplishes all this through a weightless, nongreasy formula that leaves behind an airy floral scent. Plus, it's 100 percent vegan and suitable for all hair types.
I have straight hair that tends to frizz but this product is too oily for my hair. I immediately regretted the tiny amount I spritzed onto my hair to tampen down frizz. It was too much and my hair looked oily the rest of the day. I'm also not a fan of the fragrance. Since I have chemically treated hair I thought it would be a good product to use, but it definitely does not work with chemically treated, straightened hair.1
I was so excited when I received this that I jumped in the shower and applied it right then and there.
Let's begin with the scent. It feels like a little kid just got a bottle of cotton candy scented perfume and dumped the whole bottle on my head. I nearly had to wash it out just from smelling it, and I only applied two pumps.
It did nothing for my hair. It was frizzy, the curls undefined, and dull.
The packaging is just cheap, to be honest. Hot pink and black art isn't bold, it's distracting. The plastic was just like what I'd buy for a travel spray bottle.
After the first use, this got shoved in the back of my drawer in case someone really wants it, but I'll certainly NEVER use it again.
Was definitely not one of the better products i have received. I am actually very disappointed because it left my hair dirty feeling and made it matted at the bottom. Didn't even finish the sample i threw it away1
I was a bit disappointed in this. Sure, it detangled my thick hair well, but I didn't see any softening or conditioning benefits at all. This is more suited to fine hair I think. But the thing I can't stand is the smell. It is an extremely strong cotton candy scent, I wouldn't call it "floral" at all. I could still smell it in my hair by the next wash, 2 days later.1
Used this 2 times and hated it both times. Made my hair heavy and gross feeling.1
I have been using a leave it/detangler from another company that i absolutely adore. unfortunately this product didnt wow me enough to make me switchover. i found the formula to be a little watered down compared to what i am used to. i felt as though i needed to half the bottle for a single use, in order to get the results i needed from it.1
Not something I would use. Did not like the smell and left my hair greasy.1
Overall not impressed. The spray smells great, but all it did was leave my hair feeling super greasy. There are much better products out there that do the job without the grease factor1
I couldn't get past the scent of this product. Scented products usually don't bother me, and it's not that it smells bad but it has a very strong sweet/candy/powdery smell that I couldn't get past. I sprayed a couple of pumps in my hand then distributed into my hair and I felt like my hair carried that scent most of the day. I can't really report on the effectiveness of the detangling/protecting use because all I thought about was the scent.1
Used this a few times... Hasn't really seemed to do anything special for my hair. Smells good though1
