We tend to gravitate toward products that have as many functions as Imelda Marcos has pairs of shoes. (Okay, that may be a slight exaggeration.) Beauty Protector's leave-in mist is about as versatile as they come. This paraben- and sulfate-free detangler seals the cuticles of each strand to smooth hair and moisturizes, which helps minimize frizz. It also provides protection against UV rays and heat, safeguards color, and adds shine. Happily, it accomplishes all this through a weightless, nongreasy formula that leaves behind an airy floral scent. Plus, its 100 percent vegan and suitable for all hair types.
This product was heavy on my hair and left my hair weighted1
It has a strong unpleasant vanilla scent akin to body spray I wore in high school. It otherwise seemed ineffective and made my hair greasier1
This product is not for me. I have short hair iand it makes my hair too limp.1
I read the instructions carefully. I washed my hair as required, and I applied liberally, as instructed. When I blew dry my hair, and it looked so, so greasy! I won't use again. I would bot recommend.1
I have very curly and frizzy hair already and this does nothing but make it frizzier. It also smells like a very strong hair spray scent that I am not very fond of.1
At first I thought the perfume sample had spilt onto the bottle. After squirting some into my lovely, clean sink, I realized it was the product. It felt like a real miss. Greasy to the touch and way over-perfumated. I wouldn't want this in my hair.1
Despite the fact that it does give your hair a silky effect, there is nothing flattering about smelling like a human Raid bugspray. The effectiveness wears off rather quickly; I don't know whether to attribute this to poor formulation or me having very thick hair. The packaging itself, while cute, is very cheap-looking and gives the impression of a novelty item. For the retail price of $22, I expect more out of quality, presentation, and formulation so I definitely would not shell out that much money for a product that seems subpar to a drugstore hair product.1
Just not a fan of leave ins. I have curly frizzy hair and don't need help with detangling need more of a friz helper1
this is not something I use. I have very short hair and this is not a product I use.1
I was really hoping this product would be a miracle in a bottle with it's claims to do so much all-in-one. Sadly, I am disappointed. I will start with a positive, which is that it did an excellent job at detangling my wet hair out of the shower. However, this is where the good points I have to make about this product also end. When I went to blow dry my hair I noticed that it now had a very sticky quality to it, with the strands sticking together and to my hands, while getting bushier as it dried. I didn't write it off right away as i have experienced this with other heat-protectant products as an effect of the hair being coated with the product, but the stickiness usually goes away after additional heat styling. I therefore continued my usual styling routine and finished off with my heated round brush, but my hair was still sticky afterwards and looked weighed-down, if not just a little greasy. On top of everything else, the smell is just way too sickly sweet. I felt like I was wearing cotton candy scented perfume from middle school. To say I was disappointed in this product would be an understatement. It's possible that this product does offer the heat and UV protection it claims it does, however I believe there are similar products out there that give better overall results. I shouldn't have to sacrifice the way my hair looks and feels for it to be healthy.1
