In the battle against dry, frizzy hair, harsh detergents called sulfates are one of the worst offenders. Replace your shampoo with this creamy, sulfate-free cleanser that adds moisture to overworked curls instead of stripping it away. The results are so good, you won’t even miss the suds.
I bought this and I don't like it. It smells wonderful, creamy and coconutty. The smell pleasantly lingers. But, I just didn't feel like my hair was clean. Maybe I just didn't use enough, but I used much more than I would a normal shampoo (little by little). Or maybe I just don't like cleansing creams in general. If you like cleansing creams its worth a try.2
I bought this in a pinch. I needed a curly hair cleanser and was not near a store that sold my usual (Deva Curl No Poo). I like the smell of this and it doesn't cause increased frizz. I get a very small amount of lather/foam with it that I don't get from the No Poo. This product is good but my first love is Deva Curl !4
I bought this after using the leave-in curl conditioner which I absolutely love! It leaves my curls soft & defined without the dreaded crunchiness that most gels cause. This cleansing cream is alright, but nothing really earth shattering. The thing I really dislike about this and the conditioner that I also bought is the fact that they smell absolutely terrible! I've tried to use it for 5 days straight but finally had to give up. The smell is just too much for me.2
I have tried so many brands of shampoos and cleansing creams over the years, it's not even funny. I found this a few months ago, and I'm saved! It does wonders for my naturally curly, naturally frizzy hair. I will use this forever!5
I got the curl jelly in my February and loved it so much I wanted to try the entire line. Ultimately I am unimpressed. It's twice the price, half the size, and the same quality as a drug store brand. I'll swear by the jelly but I won't be buying this again.4
