Stars (of the celestial variety, though the same could be said for Hollywood) lose their allure when their brilliance fades. Which is exactly the case with color-treated hair: Fading means dull, damaged, lifeless locks. This sulfate-free shampoo maintains your hair's brilliance, preserving color depth for up to 40 days. Shine on.
A few years ago, I stopped using any shampoos that contained sulfates/sulfites. This shampoo still has SLS as one of its main ingredients, so I was a bit hesitant to use it. Why make a color-protect hair product that contains an ingredient that strips away color?1
I can't handle strongly scented Shampoos and conditioners, unless they are naturally scented with things like essential oils...This stuff smelled like cheap perfume and it was really overwhelming! Plus I have a lot of hair so a quarter sized amount from my sample was not going to do the job. I needed a handful. It shampooed my hair fine but I will not be buying a full sized product.2
Had to use ALOT of product get a lather. It is very drying and felt it as I was shampooing my hair. Had to use a leave-in conditioner to compensate when drying hair. Overpriced for no results.2
I have a lot of hair and the sample I recieved was a joke I don't want any tiny samples I can barely use and only came with a shampoo and the price doesn't help either would not recommend to anyone .2
Not really impressed with this shampoo at all.Did not notice anything special for me to purchase this2
Didn't notice a difference in my hair at all. I've only used it once though but I'm pretty doubtful it'll have any effect on my hair other than simply cleaning it.2
I had high expectations of this product as I've tried other shampoos of this brand before that were phenomenal. However, this seemed ordinary and I didn't notice any difference in my hair after using it. My hair didn't feel any softer or shinier, nor did it make my color-treated hair more vibrant as promised.2
Kerastase products are pretty consistently high-quality. This was a nice shampoo, but it's a little hard to tell from the sample size at how well it does with preventing fading.2
While Kerastaase Chroma Riche (masque) is probably my favorite hair product of all time, I found Chroma Captive (wash) to be disappointing. I had a really tough time working this sulfate-free formula through my thick hair. I coudln't get my hair to feel clean with this shampoo without using too much product.2
This was not worth a second try for me. It seemed to have dried out my hair and caused more frizz. This is not anything I would purchase.2
