Kérastase Bain Chroma Captive - Cleanse

Stars (of the celestial variety, though the same could be said for Hollywood) lose their allure when their brilliance fades. Which is exactly the case with color-treated hair: Fading means dull, damaged, lifeless locks. This sulfate-free shampoo maintains your hair's brilliance, preserving color depth for up to 40 days. Shine on.

Ok

I liked the shine and volume this gave to my hair but would not purchase this at this price.

Just okay

I was excited to try this finally but after using it, it was just okay. My hair felt soft but went flat after a few hours. Maybe if I was able to use it more than once I could make a better judment but that is all I could get out of my sample.

Liked it at first
Sampled

I really liked this product at first. I was getting ready to buy the full sized product; however, after several washes, it seemed to leave my hair very frizzy and not managable at all.

This product smells really good, but it left my hair very tangled. I have very fine hair that gets tangled easily, but this seemed to be worse than other products.

Mixed Review

When I first tried it I had really long hair and it made the underside of my hair super greasy. Sometimes, after I blow-dried my hair, it didn't even feel like I had clean hair. So I stopped using it.

Then I cut 3 1/2 inches off my hair and dyed it. The next day I ran out of my regular shampoo for colored hair and had to use this one...and it worked great! I don't know what the difference was the second time around, so I would say sample it before paying $40 dollars for it.

Pass for fine hair

This shampoo smells nice, but it's too heavy for fine hair, especially if you use any products during styling. This definitely won't work for those who use leave in conditioners or detanglers.

Meh

It is a nice shampoo. It smells nice, as well. I have a ton of thin, fine hair, and this just left mine feeling heavy.

Decent

This is a decent shampoo. I don't know if its worth the price. I have really thick long hair and the sample size was not enough for me to make a clear cut decision. I did like the smell.

Just average

I'm used to salon hair products so this one was above average but not a "holy wow" product. Still, it is great for colored hair.
