Unless you were blessed with perfect natural hair color and grays never sprout from your head (i.e., you're one in a million), you probably color your hair. Just as likely? Color fading and chemical damage. Lock color in (see ya, premature fading) with this hair mask, which preserves your shade and keeps tresses soft and shiny for up to 40 days.
After letting this mask sit in my shower for weeks due to the packaging (there is literally no way to open those ridiculous sample packages in the shower, while your hands are wet, especially when they have no tabs already cut out to help you along), I finally remembered to go get scissors BEFORE my shower and take them with me. I had to use both little sample packs to begin to cover my (just past my shoulders) hair.
Only time will tell if this mask does anything to help my color not fade, but as a conditioner/moisturizer/mask, I couldn't tell any difference from my hair's normal texture. It didn't feel noticeably softer or smoother. Not impressed with this one.
I've sampled this twice before and it doesn't seem to be effective for my long, blonde highlights. Mind that I've been in pools alot lately in the summer; could be use as after pool quick mask (after you rinse your self chloride out first before applying mask) in between like walking home or driving home.1
I would say that it smelled very nicely but it 's merely a small tester of creme rinse.1
I just don't really get this product, so apparently it hasn't done anything for me. For one thing, I'm not even sure when to use it or how often. Do I use it daily? Weekly? Monthly? Do I use it before I wash ? After I wash? Before I condition? Instead of conditioner? After I condition? Anyway, I did not see any noticeable difference in my hair, but will hold the sample until my hair is freshly colored and see if it helps at all. In the meantime, I'll have to look at the brand web page for more details on how to use it appropriately.1
This really didn't do anything for me, but I also do not have color treated hair2
I expect a lot out of deep conditioners this expensive - 3 minutes miracle works better than this stuff.2
I gave this mask a go (even though I usually don't use such products) and it left my hair feeling and looking greasy so yes, it intensified shine but it left me looking unclean. Maybe it's partially because I have short hair. I can't say, but I won't use or recommend this.2
I have thin, fine hair, and this stuff only makes my hair greasy and flat. Not sure how it would be for people with thicker hair, but definitely not for those with fine hair that want volume.2
So I've used many masks in my lifetime and have only found two that I believe really are beneficial for my hair. This wasn't one of them, unfortunately.2
Was super excited to get this in my box. I've always wanted to try this brands deep conditioner & now was my chance. The good: great sample size, beautiful package, decent smell and texture. Bad: Not sure if it locks in color, but can say it for sure sucked out the moisture. I noticed every time I used it, my hair seemed extra dry. I'd rather need to dye my hair often, then have it look like straw.2
