Curls tend to disintegrate faster than celebrity romances. And just like prying paparazzi, styling products for straight hair do little to help. Enter Curly Hair Solutions™’s Tweek™, the first-ever hairspray in a cream form for curly hair. Featuring the ideal pH balance, it redefines everything from loose waves to tight ringlets, adding volume and shine—as well as a light, fresh scent—without stickiness or weight.
I did not like this product . Did not see any difference than if I would use hairspray. Plus hairspray is cheaper and easier to use2
I have fine, thick, naturally curly hair, that tends to be fairly dry. I already use another curl cream that works well for dry styling, but I was interested to try this one. This cream has a nice texture and a light scent, which I like. I'm turned off by the name, however. Hairspray makes me think of the overly crunchy styles popular in the 80s and early 90s, so I would never have picked this up if I hadn't received a sample in my February box. I do think this provides a fair amount of hold without weighing down my fine hair and it doesn't make it crunchy. So often products for curly hair assume a coarse texture and slick it out; this didn't do that. Overall, this is a pretty nice curl cream that does provide some additional hold without weighing down my hair.2
Washes well and my hair soft light and very bouncy and curls were tight.live this product and I will definitely buy this product3
I was skeptical of this product, but I like the Curl Keeper so much that I went ahead and purchased it . I use it exactly as it's intended: as a next-day fixer on my wavy/curly hair. When I wake up and don't do my hair it is kinda flat, curls really loose, whole thing a little frizzy and limp. With this product I take a quarter size amount in my hands and rub together, then just scrunch scrunch scrunch. The first time I tried it I was like "uh oh, this is NOT gonna work." But then once it dried in a minute or two I realized it DID work. It rejuvenates the curl somewhat, it takes care of some of the frizz and flyways, and it makes my hair look "newer." Unfortunately, it doesn't anything for volumizing and so my hair still looks a little limp, and if I'm not careful it can look a little too product-y. Like it just really needs a wash. So frankly I don't like this as a substitute for a wash and re-do. But on busy preschool mornings when I stayed up too late the night before and can't make the 6am wakeup I need to take a shower, this product will get me through until I can wash it later in the day. So I recommend, but don't expect magic. It might work better on someone who is really curlier. I'm more of a loose curls/waves sort of girl.3
This stuff was really hyped up, but when I got it I was immediately repulsed by the smell. It smells like straight chemicals, and it has a sticky texture. I got it because people said in other review that it refreshens second day curls, but I haven't been able to salvage them yet with this.3
I have curly hair and I really like the end result after using this product but my hair is stiff which I'm not crazy about, I much rather soft curls3
I got a sample of this product in my Birch Box, and I Was so excited, I had to buy the full product! It does do a good job of reviving my curl, and giving it more body and pep - it's good for second day hair. The problem is (and I swear I CANNOT figure out why!), some days it's a miss - my hair gets frizzy and yuck looking when I add this. I've ended up going with another product more often than not, because it is more predictable. But I haven't given up on this one yet!3
I didn't find that this did much for my hair. I can get the same results with just using water. I think this is prouct that would work better with wavy hair instead of the curly ringlets that i have.3
I was so excited to try something new for my hair. My hair is quite thick, with natural tight curls and gets fuzzy and poofy without proper products. Unfortunately this product is not for me. While it did help to control frizz, I found it to be goopy and a bit sticky. It has a pleasant smell but frankly, I just prefer my mousse and hairspray combo.3
i have a no love no hate relationship with this product! my hair is naturally wavy, borderline curly and this helped tame frizz but not much else. i didn't feel like my waves were much more defined - but i did appreciate that it wasn't sticky and the scent was nice!3
