Bucking classic hairspray stereotypes, Ojon’s Restorative Finishing Spray offers lightweight, malleable hold, leaving hair glossy and pillow-soft (no stickiness, pinky swear!). As part of the damage reverse™ product line, which focuses on combating a slew of tress enemies (including sun, pollution, coloring, chemicals, heat styling, diet, and stress), it also conditions, nourishes and repairs parched and damaged strands.
I think this is a nice product that does seem to lightly condition/soften my hair. It provides minimal shine and has a lovely scent. I don't think it's a mandatory product to have in my beauty regimen though.2
I was pretty excited to receive this in my Birchbox because I had always heard such great things about the brand. However, I am disappointed to say that I was really unimpressed with this product. Honestly, I can't say that I noticed any of the results (i.e. light hold or shine) that the packaging on the can promised. The one thing that really got me was the smell. It was of a musk variety and not pleasant to smell, at least to me. The smell doesn't dissipate too much either, it lingered in my hair for the whole day.1
i really like this spray, it does exactly what it claims to do. I don't like how it smells though, that's my only complaint4
I love this finishing spray. I do not use any type of styling product after my hair is dry because it tends to make it brittle and hard. This finishing spray keeps my fly-aways at bay and also smells wonderful. It doesn't make my hair stick to my head either, which I love!5
I really loved how my hair felt after using this product.5
There was no hold and it made my hair more greasy instead of shiny. I did only use a small amount and it made my hair stringy. Not for me.2
Sometimes the items in BB are a hit/miss, this was a miss. The smell was weird ,and something I wouldn't have picked out on my own; it didn't hold my style like I thought it might, but it did give a bit of shine to my hair, which was nice, overall, if it came in different fragrances, and more holding power I'd buy the brand.3
The main thing I don't like about this product is the smell. However, I have been using it after my hairspray to add shine and to get the restorative benefits, which I like. The sample size was AMAZING, I just don't know that this product is a necessity for me.3
I thought this would be like a hair spray, but it is not. I am not sure what it was doing for my hair. I will use the rest of it, but will not purchase the product.3
Just an average hairspray. It didn't smell very good... & who wants stinky hair. It said it was supposed to "correct" damaged hair but I haven't really been using it for long enough to tell if that statement is true or not. I won't be buying this product.2
