Bucking classic hairspray stereotypes, Ojon’s Restorative Finishing Spray offers lightweight, malleable hold, leaving hair glossy and pillow-soft (no stickiness, pinky swear!). As part of the damage reverse™ product line, which focuses on combating a slew of tress enemies (including sun, pollution, coloring, chemicals, heat styling, diet, and stress), it also conditions, nourishes and repairs parched and damaged strands.
I was really excited to try this product when I got it in my birchbox this month, but after using it a few times, I'm still not sure what it's supposed to do.
I curl my hair about three-four times a week, and when I finish, I use this spray. It adds some shine (but it wears off quickly), and the scent is not very pleasant too me. I don't know how to describe it, but it's not very "fresh" smelling.
I was so excited about the sample size and ultimate idea for this product--anything "restorative" and I am on board! Also I would like to add that I am NOT sensitive to smells or picky about the fragrances of my products but this one is almost too much for me. I love the product itself but the scent is overpowering and has a chemically note. I dont enjoy using it because of this and that is the ONLY reason.4
I was a little wary of the fact that it was supposed to give "hold" while containing an oil that moisturizes. I think I was too scared to used enough of it to really do anything to help the style of my hair as I have really fine hair so was worried that my hair would look greasy by the end of the day if I used this like "hair spray". I think a little more information would have made me a little more comfortable, but I really only used this for loose styles that did not need too much help in the hold department...so I really didn't know why I was even using the product.3
The spray is for finishing, the instructions offer an option to spray on damp hair. Is this a hair spray? I have no idea what this product is really for. I liked the Oijon salon gloss, but this one will take time to determine if it works or not.3
I don't really understand this product. It does leave hair shiny but has pretty much no hold. Not sure if it is supposed to be a hairspray or just a finishing spray3
While this was not sticky at all and worked well on my thick hair, I could not get passed the smell of it.1
I did NOT like this product! It had no hold whatsoever on my hair. It was more like a dry oil spray for you hair which is not what I need.1
I absolutely love this light weight spray! It smells good and takes good care of my hair.5
I love this prodcut and I think it works great as a hairspray. It is very light wieght and I love that it has damage reversal qualities. The one thing that I am not sold on is the smell.4
I definitely noticed a big difference in the way that my hair felt after using this product. Love it!4
