Bucking classic hairspray stereotypes, Ojon’s Restorative Finishing Spray offers lightweight, malleable hold, leaving hair glossy and pillow-soft (no stickiness, pinky swear!). As part of the damage reverse™ product line, which focuses on combating a slew of tress enemies (including sun, pollution, coloring, chemicals, heat styling, diet, and stress), it also conditions, nourishes and repairs parched and damaged strands.
I love this..it is light, has a decent hold without the hair-spray look, provides some shine as well as frizz control. If you are needing something to tame any extreme hair problem (major frizz, major fly-aways, need all-day hold, etc) this probably isnt the best for you but for what I need, it is perfect.5
What is great about the container is that you can bring it on business trips- weekend getaways. I have used it a couple of times, while it doesn't weigh my hair down I'm not crazy about the scent!4
As a hairstylist I'm always leery about hair products that other select for me. I had not heard of Ojon before I received the product in my birchbox but thought I'd give it a try. The spray goes on in a light mist that is not a wet setting spray and the hold it provided to my (iron) curls was fantastic. I didn't leave a build up on my hair or scalp! I'll be searching my local supply warehouses for Ojon products for sure!4
Used it for the first time today when curling my hair and I really love it. You can feel the oil in the spray but it doesn't weigh hair down. Plus, there's no cruch like my Pureology hairspray and my hair feels great.4
I'm looking forward to trying this product more! It smells good and is a great lightweight hairspray but I haven't noticed anything different about my hair but I suspect that is because I've only been using it a day!4
This is a good hairspray all around. No crunchy hair. It's pretty powerful too. The packaging is great, it comes out very softly. It smells great. I use it for taming little baby hairs in ponytails. As for the healing part, I don't think I can really see that yet.5
I don't know why I was wearing a strong hold hairspray when this is so much softer and prettier. Even my husband noticed I had done something different to my hair. Since I don't wear my hair in a beehive, the strong hold is no longer needed.5
(In theory) this product is everything I've always wanted for my occasionally dry curly hair. Hairspray is one of my favorite styling products to use on second or third day hair as a refresher or to finish a bun/up do. I was excited to hear about a hairspray that is also nourishing. However, I cannot get past the scent. I was dying on the way to work today because it's the only thing I can smell - I would describe the scent as sandalwood-heavy, which is my least favorite scent. It might work for someone who likes an almondy/earthy/sandalwood scent. It has great hold, and I love that it's nourishing, but the scent is way too intense for me.3
