Bucking classic hairspray stereotypes, Ojon’s Restorative Finishing Spray offers lightweight, malleable hold, leaving hair glossy and pillow-soft (no stickiness, pinky swear!). As part of the damage reverse™ product line, which focuses on combating a slew of tress enemies (including sun, pollution, coloring, chemicals, heat styling, diet, and stress), it also conditions, nourishes and repairs parched and damaged strands.
I tried to use it but I just couldn't handle the smell. That is disappointing because the other reviews said the actual product worked well. I was looking forward to using it.2
I've been using the product in the mornings with my flat iron to smooth and protect my hair. It's light weight, and it holds all day long, even in inclement weather! However, I really also dislike the scent. It's a little too musky for my tastes.4
I've found this to be a good product in terms of hold for a hairspray. Been using for a few weeks and not sure I see any added strength or repair. For future development they should concentrate on the smell. While it's not unbearable I've used other products that smelled much better.3
This product is true to it's description. It's very lightweight, leaves hair shiny, and like it says it's not sticky feeling. If you're looking for a strong-hold product this wouldn't be what you want, but if you want something to give your hair a little extra hold and shine before walking out the door in the mornings this is perfect! Smell's good too!5
I have waited a little too long between hair cuts, and have lots of dry and/or split ends when I dry my hair. When I received this in my box, I decided to spray it on my ends before I walked out the door and it worked! I couldn't even tell my ends were frayed anymore and it lasted all day! It also makes very thin hair shiny without looking oily. I always have a hard time with traditional serums, because my hair is so fine. This product is a spay, however, and it's the perfect solution. I agree with other posts about the smell.... They should add something to make it smell better! Then, it would be perfect!4
This is a nice product for a light hold. I have thick, wavy hair and need an extra hold. I used this product of my bangs and it worked great. Didn't make them oily looking and held them thoughout the day.4
This product is great... doesn't leave your hair crunchy, holds style, and is damage reverse. The only bad thing is the smell. This is quite possibly one of the worst smelling products I've used on my hair, but it's not so bad as to make me want to stop using this product. Once you get used to the smell, it's not a huge deal, but it could be better. Like I said: great product, bad smell.4
I thought it worked well as a finishing spray for more loose hair styles, but if you're looking for a hair spray that's more heavy-duty for your more elaborate styles, this isn't the right product for you. As for the damage-repair quality of the product: I didn't notice much of a difference. I don't mind how it smells...I typically like muskier fragrances anyway. I'll keep using my sample, and maybe will buy it again.4
I've tried this product once so far. I did notice that it made my hair look shinier and more polished , but I think I need to use it a few more times to see if I'm sold on it. The smell is so, so. I didn't love it, but it's ok. I'm looking forward to using it again.3
I was excited to get a travel size hairspray, but when I tried it, I didn't like the smell at all. It's very strong to me and very "hairspray" scented. I have used Shaper hairspray for a long time, and I guess I'm just used to that smell.2
