We love a shimmery shadow, but often we find ourselves in more of a matte mood. If you’re looking to add a bit of color without any shine, consider this velvety shadow. Cement, a medium grey, is perfect for a daytime smoky eye, and we love dabbing a bit of Alabaster, a peachy ivory, in the corners of our eyes as a quick brightening cheat. Darker shades like Purple Sage and Burnt Umber will instantly up the glam factor.
I got this as a sample in one of my boxes. I got the burnt umber color, and it is beautiful. I use it for creating a smoky eye, and I have received many compliments on this color. It lasts a long time too. I've had this sample for a while, and there is still plenty left.5
This eyeshadow is tough to get out of the palette a bit but I have found that it does stay rather well, overall good product4
I loooves a good eyeshadow, especially if it stays put and I can use it wet or dry. This one is one of those eyeshadows! The color is vibrant and saturated and makes my lids POP! I probably now "need" every shade!4
I am not big on experimentation with eye makeup so I pretty much always still to my neutrals. This eyeshadow required a little extra elbow grease to get the product out of the palette but I loved the color once it was on. Very pretty and natural.4
The purple sage is beautiful, but I found the matte shadow difficult to apply. I use a base before applying my shadow to extend the wear of my shadow so that may have impacted the application of the shadow, but I don't think I'll be purchasing it again.2
I tried the cement color and have green eyes. I like the look of it and it seemed to last about the same as any other eye shadow for me.4
I liked this a lot but it seems better for fairer skin. I ended up giving it to a friend but it looked great on her4
I have a hard time finding good matt shades that dont end up looking flat on the eyelids. I was pleasantly surprised at how 3 dimensional this one looked. The down side is that it seemed to disappear of my eyelids half way through the day.3
I like the color of the eyeshadow a lot but I find that it's hard to put on. I've tried different brushes and have used with/without primer but it doesn't seem to go on very dark or thick (the amount of product I need to use in order to get any color on my lids has me worried I will go through it in no time).3
Not the best color for me, but it was a creamy product that I would try in a brown shade.2
