We love a shimmery shadow, but often we find ourselves in more of a matte mood. If you’re looking to add a bit of color without any shine, consider this velvety shadow. Cement, a medium grey, is perfect for a daytime smoky eye, and we love dabbing a bit of Alabaster, a peachy ivory, in the corners of our eyes as a quick brightening cheat. Darker shades like Purple Sage and Burnt Umber will instantly up the glam factor.
This shadow has a very high pigment. It feels great on the lids and is easy to blend. I wore it without a primer and it looked great.4
This is a nice neutral color with plenty of uses in this teeny compact. Not as creamy as some other eyeshadows I have used, but still nice.3
I got my sample yesterday and didn't think I'd like it. The color is wonderful, deep enough without looking over-done. It does need a primer if you want long-term coverage however.4
I received the purple sage in my march birchbox. It's a very pretty color but TINY sample. It glides smoothly and has a good payoff.4
I used to not be a fan of matte eye shadow but after receiving this, I love!!! This is a gorgeous color with a velvet like texture/finish. Love this and will definitely buy full size!5
I got a sample of this in my box this month. I just tried it and really liked it. It blends very well and stayed on all through work today.4
