We love a lipstick that delivers intense, long-lasting color—and this smudge-proof formula doesn’t disappoint. The hydrating, antioxidant-rich lipstick does double duty as a lip treatment, and, best of all, MAKE donates one-third of all sales to the brand’s parent non-profit, which supports women-led cooperatives.
The color was nice, though a little dark for a product I'd use in spring/summer. I thought the lipstick went on a little to thick, though, and it seemed to flake away quickly after eating. A little drying, as well.2
This sample was so tiny and difficult to hold I could barely use it. It seemed to dry out my lips and didn't last long. Not one of my favorites, sorry.2
I got this sample in the "Putty." It feels ok for a lipstick, but the color looks really washed out and made me look like I had concealer on my lips. I don't know if the other shades are more flattering, but this one just wasn't for me. I do like that they donate to charity though, and the finish was smooth.2
The sample was too small to identify if I liked the product or not.2
This sample came on a card with a couple lipstick shades in little wells. I tried all the shades. I could not handle the texture of this lipstick. It was incredibly dry and difficult to apply with a brush. Within minutes, it had completely dried out my lips and the color was peeling off with the skin from my lips. The primer that came with it did not help. It was not creamy and didn't blend well, even with a balm added. I threw the sample away.1
this sample came in little smudge pack and not a stick applicator- was probably one of the most annoying samples and the texture is not creamy enough to use a lip brush to apply- i attempted and the primer was like chalk so in the trash it went (colors were also terrible)1
I thought I would love the brand and color as I usually an never wrong about a lipstick..
But this brand i think is too new on the market..
It totally broke on the first use ... And the red color is totally not the red as described...
COULD BE A BAD BATCH AS IT LOOKED MORE BLUE THAN RED AND WAS MORE WET FEELING THAN A LIPSTICK..
This lipstick sample was really thick and didn't lay on smoothly. It was also such a strong pigment. I prefer glossier more moisturizing lipsticks.1
The color was pretty but I seriously disliked the consistency. It was too creamy. Scared to put it in my purse as I feel it might melt and get everywhere. Not for me.1
It made my lips dry out and was kind of sticky. Settled in my lip creases1
