If you love Oscar de la Renta's live in love Eau de Parfum, prepare to fall head over heels for this scented body scrub. The creamy formula hydrates skin while leaving behind a gorgeous scent. Light notes like sweet hyacinth, rose, and jasmine sambac lend an ultra-feminine feel, while the woody scents of amber, musk, and sandalwood give it a unique edge.
I felt that this scrub did get very sudsy and definitely made me feel fresh & clean! However, I wasn't a huge fan of the scent (personal preference!) & it is definitely out of my budget to use as an everyday scrub!3
Liked the scrub and the softening effects, but the scent was overpowering.3
I love body scrubs and am about to take a long weekend vacay, so I was happy to have a body scrub to take with me. The smell is lovely. I would never buy this because it is $42 and the mango shea butter sugar scrub that I LOVE and usually use is $13.3
The floral scent was a bit too much for me at first, but faded to a nice subtle scent after rinsing it off. Won't be purchasing though as it is a bit too expensive for what it is, in my opinion.3
While it's not a bad scent, it's just overpowering for me first thing in the morning.
Plus, there are scrubs that work just as well with lighter scents at a lower price point.
This body scrub was decent at scrubbing/exfoliating but the scent just wasn't for me. It was too floral. The packaging of the sample was bad too - hard to open, not a big enough sample to really get a feel for the product.3
I don't normally use a body scrub, but when I do, I prefer much rougher scrubs, like coarse sugar scrubs. This product was nice because it's also a cleanser (I assume...), but it's not as scrubby as I would like and does not smell fantastic to me. Closer to "chemically" rather than fruity or some other identifiable term. I would definitely like to use this product if someone gifted it to me, but I would probably opt into a different scrub if I was to buy one.3
Smells nice - like perfume, the texture is fine, but I'm not crazy about the scent and it didn't really seem to stick around post-shower.3
This was a small sample and I used it in one bath (was only able to use on my arms and hands). What I liked about the scrub were the large chunks of grit, the foamy lather and the scent. It didn't feel like a hardcore functional scrub, more like something to pamper yourself (if you like the feel of body scrubs). The smell is luxurious and not something I would choose to use every day. I'd consider getting the full size if the price was lower, much lower.3
My skin did feel great after getting out of the shower but the scent was a little overpowering for a body wash when I like to use lotion and perfume afterwards.3
