If you love Oscar de la Renta's live in love Eau de Parfum, prepare to fall head over heels for this scented body scrub. The creamy formula hydrates skin while leaving behind a gorgeous scent. Light notes like sweet hyacinth, rose, and jasmine sambac lend an ultra-feminine feel, while the woody scents of amber, musk, and sandalwood give it a unique edge.
So I usually love body scrubs, but I was underwhelmed. It smelled nice, but I'm in my early 20s, and it seemed like an older scent. Also, it is a little pricey. I think this would be a good gift for a someone a little older.2
The product smells great, not over powering. Liked the gentel exfoliation although not worth the price.2
I thought the smell was amazing but the texture and the sample size was not all that appealing. It was a nice free sample but I would never buy this product when I could go to the local store and buy something simuliar for $5.2
You need to use a lot of this stuff at a time, almost the whole sample size. Also - if you are sensitive to fragrance at all, I would skip this. A nice scent, but it is very strong.2
This smells kind of like perfume, and it's kind of strong. The texture is great, and seems to work pretty well as a scrub.2
I had high hopes for this based off of the description. The scent was too strong and there really wasn't much exfoliation.2
This scrub was nice with the right amount of exfoliation, but the smell was too strong for me. I liked it, but I felt like it competed with my perfume (which I love!) so I am not planning to purchase it2
The body scrub did its job, I suppose. It was somewhat hard to get a good sense of it because the sample size was about half of what I'd need to actually wash my body. Maybe I overuse products.
The real problem for me was the scent. It's one of those scents that, to me, doesn't smell like anything except perfume. And, old perfume at that. I don't mean that the smell was rancid, but rather that it smelled like a heavy, old-school fragrance. It's definitely not something I would expect anyone under 40 to wear and if someone over 40 did wear it, I would expect them to be stodgy and dull.
I used this body scrub last night in the shower. The scent is very strong. In fact, in my opinion, it is overpowering for a body wash/scrub. I prefer a light frgrance in my shower products, as I always wear perfume anyways. Also, the sample was extremely stingy. I barely got one full wash from it.2
I wasn't a fan of this at all. It smelled too perfume-y. It did an alright job exfoliating, about as much a a body pouf would. Wasn't at all moisturizing.1
