If you love Oscar de la Renta's live in love Eau de Parfum, prepare to fall head over heels for this scented body scrub. The creamy formula hydrates skin while leaving behind a gorgeous scent. Light notes like sweet hyacinth, rose, and jasmine sambac lend an ultra-feminine feel, while the woody scents of amber, musk, and sandalwood give it a unique edge.
This would be a great scrub if the smell wasn't so overpowering.1
Smells very very good, and it's a great exfoliant. Not too abrasive. However the sample size was minuscule, and the price is exorbitant.5
This scrub wasn't the type of scent I generally choose - very strong. I did like the grittiness of the scrub and it lathered well. I felt very clean. Not my choice of scent, though it didn't smell bad.3
Though I occasionally find a mass-marketed perfume I enjoy, I'm a little biased as I work in naturally derived perfumes/scented products. I don't care for over-powering scents, and this one is certainly strong. When I read bergamot, jasmine, orange flower, sandalwood, etc. in perfume descriptions, I'm disappointed when it doesn't smell like the natural versions of those scents. But beyond the fragrance itself, I don't like the idea of heavily perfumed body washes or lotions. The amount of alcohol used to fix the scent is too drying for my skin. The texture, however, was really nice. Just not a product for me.1
This smells so foul! The floral scent is way overpowering and noxious. I am sensitive to perfume scents and this was just too much. The scent is definitely lighter after you rinse off, but it's still way too fragrant for me. I felt self-conscious about being too "smelly".1
This is a nice scrub, and it exfoliates well, but I don't care for things that have powerful fragrances. If the smell was lighter, I'd certainly like it more. Also, the price is a bit steep. I didn't mind sampling this product, but between the cost and the scent, I would not even consider buying it.3
This had a pleasant scent and was nice to use, but I've tried other scrubs that are much cheaper and work just as well (if not better)3
This made my skin super soft and the smell was decent. I wouldn't buy it because of the price. I can find similar products for more than half of the cost.4
I liked the scent as well as the scrub itself. The price is the breaking point for me. Sample size was also very small.4
The product was actually a great exfoliater and I enjoyed using it, however, to me it just smelled like men's body wash. Don't get me wrong, I love that smell but I don't prefer to be the one wearing it.2
