If you love Oscar de la Renta's live in love Eau de Parfum, prepare to fall head over heels for this scented body scrub. The creamy formula hydrates skin while leaving behind a gorgeous scent. Light notes like sweet hyacinth, rose, and jasmine sambac lend an ultra-feminine feel, while the woody scents of amber, musk, and sandalwood give it a unique edge.
it is a nice product but I prefer the one I am already using, if I change my mind in the future on the one I use, I will most likely go to this product.4
While it's not a bad scent, it's just overpowering for me first thing in the morning.
Plus, there are scrubs that work just as well with lighter scents at a lower price point.
The fragrance was nice and light, but the "scrub" wasn't exfoliating at all.1
I was super excited to try this out, and it didn't disappoint. Smell is absolutely amazing.5
This body scrub smells great, and left my skin feeling soft.
The sample packaging started to disintegrate in the shower though, so I had to throw the rest of the sample out.
This body scrub was decent at scrubbing/exfoliating but the scent just wasn't for me. It was too floral. The packaging of the sample was bad too - hard to open, not a big enough sample to really get a feel for the product.3
I really liked this scrub. The smell especially was absolutely divine. Sadly, it's a little out of my budget, especially for body scrub.5
The body scrub did its job, I suppose. It was somewhat hard to get a good sense of it because the sample size was about half of what I'd need to actually wash my body. Maybe I overuse products.
The real problem for me was the scent. It's one of those scents that, to me, doesn't smell like anything except perfume. And, old perfume at that. I don't mean that the smell was rancid, but rather that it smelled like a heavy, old-school fragrance. It's definitely not something I would expect anyone under 40 to wear and if someone over 40 did wear it, I would expect them to be stodgy and dull.
I absolutely LOVED this body scrub. The scent was beautiful, and it smoothed my skin without being overly harsh. However, at $42 I simply cannot see spending that amount. It's just too expensive.5
I don't normally use a body scrub, but when I do, I prefer much rougher scrubs, like coarse sugar scrubs. This product was nice because it's also a cleanser (I assume...), but it's not as scrubby as I would like and does not smell fantastic to me. Closer to "chemically" rather than fruity or some other identifiable term. I would definitely like to use this product if someone gifted it to me, but I would probably opt into a different scrub if I was to buy one.3
