As evidenced by our oft-updated Pinterest boards, Instagram feeds, and Tumblrs, we’re always on the lookout for sparks of inspiration. Since we’re used to pick-me-ups of the image and word variety, we were happily surprised to discover them in fragrance form. SAGE + fasten founder Vivian Lee has created a line of four scents, each meant to embody the quality for which it’s named. Common Sense, inspired by Lee’s levelheaded mom, is a refreshing and bright reminder to use our heads and keep our cool. Now that’s inspiring.
I love how this smells! Perfume is always a scary thing to buy before sampling, but this one is great! Light and feminine, without being too overpowering. It's a must have!3
the sample size is very generous, but this scent is just not my style. i'm not sure what it is that i don't like....but it's not for me.3
I wasn't impressed by this product. I loved the scent but it was so light that I asked my boyfriend if he could smell it and all he could smell was the hair mask I had just used in the shower. I like potent perfumes and this just doesn't cut it.3
I liked the smell but when I tried to roll the rollerball over my wrist it wouldn't roll and it was a bit of a struggle to get the perfume onto my skin. wish it was a spray instead.3
Really liked the rollerball sample size and the scent was feminine and pretty, it just didn't last long on me.3
I was really excited about this sample because I love all natural products and I love fragrances. It smelled great in the container, but not when I put it on my skin. It was probably a funky combination of my natural scent and the sample. I would love it as a candle!3
Nice scent, but the roller ball stopped working after the 3rd try.3
I have to begin by saying that the packaging for this perfume is FAR superior to most of the perfume samples we get in our Birchboxes. I didn't find the smell off putting. It was just a little heavy and too floral for what I like to wear in spring and summer. I'll be saving to use this in the fall.3
The scent of this perfume is lovely, but very subtle. I tend to go for more fragrant and floral/musky scents, versus this very fresh scent.3
I had not heard of this brand before but I have got to say that I like it! I received the "Onward" sample which is a great pick me upper kind of scent. I keep it at the office and when I am dragging I put a little bit on my wrists and this scent re-energizes me. It does not last long, though, and I am not sure if it is because it is a rollerball sample. I might be interested in buying if I knew for sure that the eau de parfum lasted longer.4
