As evidenced by our oft-updated Pinterest boards, Instagram feeds, and Tumblrs, we’re always on the lookout for sparks of inspiration. Since we’re used to pick-me-ups of the image and word variety, we were happily surprised to discover them in fragrance form. SAGE + fasten founder Vivian Lee has created a line of four scents, each meant to embody the quality for which it’s named. Common Sense, inspired by Lee’s levelheaded mom, is a refreshing and bright reminder to use our heads and keep our cool. Now that’s inspiring.
The scent of this perfume is lovely, but very subtle. I tend to go for more fragrant and floral/musky scents, versus this very fresh scent.3
I enjoyed the scent. It is different than my usual perfume and had a lighter, airy quality. The longer I wore the perfume the better it seemed to smell! I would buy this product.4
I thought the packaging for this sample was adorable, but the scent was not for me. I thought it had a more mature scent than what I was expecting.1
Smells great...clean and natural! I look forward to sampling other scents from this line.5
Adorable packaging and an easy roll-on applicator. It is just not a scent I am fond of. It could be great but there is just something off. Too sweet smelling.1
I find that most of the perfume samples I receive are too cloying for my tastes. Fruity/sugary perfumes are not for me. I just prefer tuberose, and even old-ladyish Orientals.2
i got a sample of this scent in my box. from the description i was unsure of it, but it is the perfect spring scent! very juicy and fruity without smelling like many of those jarringly sweet and artificial "fruity" scents on the market. i am a huge fan and will probably be purchasing the full size5
I am very picky about the scents I wear, so whenever I receive samples, I don't give them much of a thought. This perfume caught my eye with its cute name and packaging, and I totally loved the scent. The description made it sound quite fruity, which is not my forte, but I didn't find it fruity at all. It is slightly smoky, slightly floral, but still mysterious enough to stand out from the generic scents these days. I'm definitely planning on purchasing.5
Common Sense is the perfect light weight fragrance for Spring. I usually have a lot of trouble with allergies and had no trouble at all with this fragrance. The fruity scent is so inspiring!5
It smells great, and I love it! All of my coworkers complimented me on it!5
