Amp up your beauty regimen with this product-enhancing elixir. Clinical studies show that the ultrathin, water-like formula strengthens skin’s moisture barrier by up to 50 percent, giving a boost to your existing skincare products. Even better? The translucent serum is free of sulfates, synthetic fragrance and dyes, and genetic modified organisms (aka GMOs).
This is the absolute worst serum I have ever used. How this passed through a focus group I'll never understand. It stinks like a dirty ashtray and the smell does NOT wear off until washed off. In addition, it's not so much a serum as a liquid, so much of this product is wasted just pouring it from the bottle to your fingers. Also laced with parabens. I wouldn't pay $7 for this let alone $70.1
I'm sure this product is great and does exactly what it promises to do. However, once I put it on, I regretted it immediately, as the scent was terrible. I'm sure this is a personal preference; I just have a really sensitive sense of smell.1
I have sensitive skin but usually love the DDF line of cleansers, exfoliators and moisturizers.
Within 10 minutes of using this amplifying elixir, though, my face turned bright red and felt like it was burning (as if I had a really bad sunburn). My skin took a day of cold compresses to return to normal and I was worried the product would cause semi-permanent damage!
I really did not see any visible improvement after using this product. It did not give any kind of a boost to my skin. I will not be purchasing.1
I've used some DDF samples before, like the moisturizer, and it was wonderful! So I was really excited to try this sample. I used as directed, after cleansing my face before bed.. The next morning my whole face was red, and itchy. Even after taking allergy medicine, a portion of my neck is still splotchy. The sample now lies in the trash :/1
This product was really runny (as thin as water) which is weird considering it comes in a tube. I didn't felt like it did anything for my skin; no adverse reactions, but no changes either. I wouldn't buy this.1
I would give this a negative if I could. I used it for the first time this morning, and now my face is red (like a really, really bad sunburn) and burning. It's rather painful, and I'm only happy I have no big functions to attend. I do not have sensitive skin--this is the FIRST product I've ever had a problem with. Please, check this product on a small area for 24 hours before applying to the full face--just in case.1
I wish I could give this 0 stars. It is watery and smells of stale cigarette smoke.
I got this in a pick 2 mystery pack. I thought maybe the smell would go away, it doesn't. At one point I thought I had a fire burning somewhere in my bathroom when I got home after work, but nope; I didn't close the cap all the way on this stuff.
It does burn a bit, but I didn't get the reaction some are getting from this. With the watery texture and the horrendous smell - I had to toss it out. Would not recommend this to anyone.
This product felt nice on my skin, but there is no way I can get past the horrific smell. I used it once at night and couldn't wait to wash it off the next morning. Too bad, because my skin felt nice after. Unfortunately, this went directly in the trash.1
24 hours after use and my skin is still red, hot, and blotchy. Warning: skip this product if you have sensitive skin.1
