Amp up your beauty regimen with this product-enhancing elixir. Clinical studies show that the ultrathin, water-like formula strengthens skin’s moisture barrier by up to 50 percent, giving a boost to your existing skincare products. Even better? The translucent serum is free of sulfates, synthetic fragrance and dyes, and genetic modified organisms (aka GMOs).
I really do love this product; I travel often, and my skin feels very dried out. Using this before my normal morning and evening moisturizers was great. I didn't have any allergy problems. The consistency is light and absorbent, so it doesn't feel like you're layering products. However, I just can't justify the price tag with how much I'd go through by using twice a day.4
I got this in my Birchbox and love it! It took a few days for my skin to get used to it because it is a bit strong, but can really tell a difference. I can see how this product would irritate sensitive skin and wouldn't recommend it for those have sensitive skin.5
I used the sample that came in my Birchbox and i would never buy this product otherwise. It made my face burn at first and within a few minutes it was red and blotchy. I've never had anything do this to my face before. DO NOT BUY!! i could of just used any $5 bottle of face lotion and had a better experience.1
This is a horrible product, at least for me! I have never had a skin reaction to any product no matter how high end or low end. The first time I used it I woke up with a red rash on my face. The only reason I gave it one star is the site would not let me submit the review with no stars.1
A little of this stuff goes a long way! I've not had the bad smell experience of other reviewers. It's completely odorless, and the consistency is light and absorbent. This product takes a little extra saving up for, but it's a great addition to my skincare arsenal. I've been getting more comments than usual on my skin, so it must be doing something right!4
Thank goodness I put this on at night before going to bed! Within 5 minutes my face was red and blotchy and my face is usually pretty tough at handling all the chemicals I put it through. After washing my face immediately the redness went down within an hour. Never using this product again!!1
This is the absolute worst serum I have ever used. How this passed through a focus group I'll never understand. It stinks like a dirty ashtray and the smell does NOT wear off until washed off. In addition, it's not so much a serum as a liquid, so much of this product is wasted just pouring it from the bottle to your fingers. Also laced with parabens. I wouldn't pay $7 for this let alone $70.1
My skin isn't really sensitive, it's more on the dry side and acne prone (sounds weird though, right?). However, when I tried this serum it made my face really red and slightly itchy. People thought I had been out in the sun too long. So not really recommended in my book.2
I am in love with this stuff. I could never do creams or lotions on my face because anything would make me oily or breakout and I have really good skin. But after my aesthetician suggested trying a serum because any moisturizer is important for your face even if it doesn't look dry, I tried this based on reviews. Yes, its pricy but it works, I don't get oily, I don't breakout, I don't even need makeup my skin looks so dewy! Plus, I use 2 pumps daily sometimes 3 if I applied at night and I bought this the end of November, it's now the end of February and I still have probably a week or two left! It can last 3-4 months so the price equals out to less than $20 a month so I'm sold! I am going to try the DDF wrinkle resist plus pore minimizer next because I feel the quality of DDF is great, I hope I love it as much as this otherwise I'm just going to go back to this product.5
So, I received this in my box a few months ago. LOVED IT! It seems to irritate a lot of people (itchy redness) but for me, my skin feels soft and silky. The only problem is, it smells like yellow onions! Not sure if this bad smell outweighs the good... but i probably wont be paying 70 bucks for an onion-smelling product.3
