Our colleagues in the UK refer to these tress essentials as kirbies or hair grips, while in the US it’s thought their name comes from the phrase bits and bobs. Whatever you call them, bobby pins are a must-have in every beauty arsenal—and there’s no reason you need to hide them. This exclusive set of six chicly patterned pins adds instant style to all your ‘dos—display them proudly.
I received the green ones which I was really excited about. I've since tried to use them multiple times with no success.. they slide out of my hair and provide no hold and when I do try to take them out myself they pull my hair out from the end. I'll stick to the not so pretty ones that actually work.1
I couldn't get them in my hair. They're too tight. There's no flexibility to open them even slightly to put them in my hair.1
These bobby pins were ok. Being close to 30, I don't feel like I can wear these out in public. But that's just my personal preference. I also noticed that the print started rubbing off so I just threw them in my drawer or maybe the trash? Can't remember. Cute idea, bad execution.1
Unless you're a teenager I see
No use for these clips! They not only slide down but the colors are awful
I was really excited when I got these bobby pins because I only have the standard, boring bobby pins. It was really disappointing because they hurt (badly) when I take them out of my hair. Would not purchase.1
I wanted to love these, but they literally tear my hair! With already damaged hair from constant dying and heat styling, I just can't afford to unnecessarily shred my hair.1
These are super cute, but not practical. I have thinner fine hair and these are too tight and not comfortable. Also, they are too thick.1
Title says set of six. However I only received two. They also do not hold well. Probably just stay in my bathroom drawer forever.1
Adorable print, but seriously dangerous for your hair. Tried to clip it into my hair and mine were so tightly clamped that I couldn't even get them in place without pulling on my hair painfully. Removing them also removed enough hair to be concerned. Never wore them after the first attempt because of it. Bobby pins should be tight enough to hold your hair in place, but should still be at least bendable enough not to destroy the hair it's holding.1
These are so cute but I could barely open the pin and when I did they were difficult to get out of my hair without damage.1
