Our colleagues in the UK refer to these tress essentials as kirbies or hair grips, while in the US it’s thought their name comes from the phrase bits and bobs. Whatever you call them, bobby pins are a must-have in every beauty arsenal—and there’s no reason you need to hide them. This exclusive set of six chicly patterned pins adds instant style to all your ‘dos—display them proudly.
So cute! perfect for hot summer days to keep your layers and bangs out of your face.5
I love the teal/green color I got in my Birchbox this month! They held my hair really well, although it did pull a few strands out when I tried removing them.5
i am super clumsy and these guys somehow got tangled up in my bun.... not fun!2
i like this product because when my hair gets in the way of my face, i like using the pins.3
These are really cute and stay in your hair well BUT they are way too tight. They are difficult to put in the hair and also difficult to take out without pulling out hair. They need to be a tad more flexible like regular bobby pins.3
Excited for these. I have thin hair and it provides a good hold. These will be perfect for a wedding I'm going to.5
I love these because they are fast and easy way to kick a casual hairstyle up a notch!5
I use bobby pins ALL the time so I was super excited to get these... except as I found out they are super tight and hard to get in my hair, and they end up pulling my hair out. Not cool! As these are a Birchbox exclusive, I think they are a great idea and really cute, but the manufacturing of them just needs some work.1
I love the geometric print on these pins and that they are slightly bigger than other pins. They also stay put - but they stay put too well. The bobby pins took strands of hair out if I didn't remove them carefully. If it weren't for them taking out hair, I absolutely would have bought a set.4
I loved the look of these, so cute! I can see them looking hot on short hair. I also love the sturdy size, about the size of a barrette. My only complaint is that they are so inflexible that they are hard to get on and off and get hairs caught in them when trying to pull off or reposition.4
