Our colleagues in the UK refer to these tress essentials as kirbies or hair grips, while in the US it’s thought their name comes from the phrase bits and bobs. Whatever you call them, bobby pins are a must-have in every beauty arsenal—and there’s no reason you need to hide them. This exclusive set of six chicly patterned pins adds instant style to all your ‘dos—display them proudly.
I pin back my hair often, but these were too heavy/thick to be used on my hair.2
I love these bobby pins. I have super thick hair and usually have to use 3-4 pins in my hair to keep it up. One of these does the trick!5
Love these pins because not only are they super cute but they are super strong.5
I got the blue ones and they look so cute with my curly hair. So excited to get more!5
I LOVE my Birchbox bobby pins!!! The print and blue + white color combination are adorable.
Also, the bobby pins are super strong and held back my hair all day... Love!!!
Cute, but they are really difficult to work with. It's hard to pry them open enough to get them into your hair cleanly (without damaging your hair or just looking crazy). That said, if you manage to get them in satisfactorily, neither they nor your hair will slip out of place.2
I received these in my box in blue, and I loved the pattern. Unfortunately they are very large and difficult to use. They don't have much give at all, so they hold onto my hair, but it's difficult to get them open to get them into my hair. They also pulled my hair when I removed them. If I use them again, it will be purely decorative and not functional.2
The pattern is really cute, but the pin is difficult to get in and out of my hair. It really does hold it, though, which is more than I can say for most things.3
I really love these, they are the perfect accessory!5
I was really hoping to like these since they're super cute and totally different than the traditional bobby pins I normally use.
The design looks cool, but unfortunately doesn't really work with my fine hair. I've tried them a few different ways, but can't seem to find a style with them that works on me.
They are super sturdy, so if you have thicker hair, they'd probably be great for you!
