Our colleagues in the UK refer to these tress essentials as kirbies or hair grips, while in the US it’s thought their name comes from the phrase bits and bobs. Whatever you call them, bobby pins are a must-have in every beauty arsenal—and there’s no reason you need to hide them. This exclusive set of six chicly patterned pins adds instant style to all your ‘dos—display them proudly.
I received the white bobby pins with the green pattern. Although I thought they were adorable, I couldn't justify myself to wearing them outside of my house. They would be great for a child, though!3
The print on these bobby pins is adorable and perfect to add a little flair to a boring last minute outfit and hairstyle. I am queen of the messy bun many days during the week and these will definitely liven up my look a bit. Wish i had gotten the green ones instead of blue, but no complaints as they don't snag/ pull/ bend/ break when used in my thick hair!4
I thought these pins were really cute but when I tried to open one to put it on my bangs, I found out that it's very difficult ton open them!!! I haven't been able to enjoy them like I thought I would.3
Fun for a ponytail or pinning my hair up on the weekend, but not sure I'd wear them to work. I prefer normal bobby pins.4
These pins are super adorable but hurt when taking them out. I already shed like a dog so don't like products that add to that issue. I may keep them around for fun dress-up.3
Bobby pins were cute...but really? I can get bobbypins super cheap. Don't put them in my birchbox.2
I received the white and gray ones and they are super cute. That being said, they are so hard to get open and therefore pull out my hair when taking them out. If they weren't so tight I would get more use out of them.3
These pins were cute but a bit too thick for my slick hair. I had to gather a bunch of hair to make these effective.3
I really didn't like this. I have thinner, fine hair. I liked the designs on the pins, but they were heavy, thick, and hard to open. I tried putting it in my hair, but it needed so much of my hair to hold the pin in, it looked silly. Then, since it was so hard to take the pin out, it ripped out a few strands of hair. I gave the pins away!1
I really liked these bobby pins for pinning my bangs back during the summer. When I wear my hair in a pony, I like to pin my bangs back so they stay in place and these pins were perfect. They are tougher than normal bobby pins, and can be a little difficult to open at first. I have really thick hair and they stayed in place without having to criss-cross with another bobby!4
