Our colleagues in the UK refer to these tress essentials as kirbies or hair grips, while in the US it’s thought their name comes from the phrase bits and bobs. Whatever you call them, bobby pins are a must-have in every beauty arsenal—and there’s no reason you need to hide them. This exclusive set of six chicly patterned pins adds instant style to all your ‘dos—display them proudly.
These seem like they'd work okay, but I'm happy with regular old bobby pins that blend in with my hair. I rarely wear them, but wearing these would make me feel like I'm trying to be younger than I am. I'll pass them on to my niece.
I did try them in my hair and they pulled some strands of hair out when I was trying to remove them, whereas other brands don't.
i think this bobby pins are so fun! They add a nice flare to my hair.5
Loved this - and how cute! I got a lot of compliments when I wore them to an event.5
I love these bobby pins. They are so cute and look great in my hair. I think the are a great price, too.5
I received the white bobby pins with the blue pattern. They are hard to get in my hair and hard to take out (pull hair out). In my opinion they are also too wide and too long, they are more like barrettes. Unfortunately, they don't hold enough of my thick hair to be used as barrettes.2
Super cute little hairpins. Fun to receive this in my box.4
Cute bobby pins, but they were to difficult to get in and out of my hair. They were too long also.3
These bobby pins are adorable and fun but unrealistic for my hair. I don't really use bobby pins as accessories more for utilitarian purposes never the less these pins are adorable and I will definitely squeeze them into my attire one day.4
Got two green pins in my July box. I love these style of pins because they stay in your hair and don't slip out. Previously got a similar one from another beauty sample box. Happy to add these to my collection!5
I could barely pry these open to put them in my hair. Now, once they're in, they're very strong - but they don't grip as well as I'd like. I wonder if I'm just extra wimpy in the hand strength department, as I really struggled to get the pins open wide enough to slip them in my hair. Very cute, though.1
