Our colleagues in the UK refer to these tress essentials as kirbies or hair grips, while in the US it’s thought their name comes from the phrase bits and bobs. Whatever you call them, bobby pins are a must-have in every beauty arsenal—and there’s no reason you need to hide them. This exclusive set of six chicly patterned pins adds instant style to all your ‘dos—display them proudly.
I felt as though these bobby pins / I would consider them more of a hair clip. Were to strong of a metal and it was hard to fit any amount of har in between the clip.2
Cute bobby pin, HOWEVER I feel like a little girl wearing it. Granted, I'm not old (I'm not even 30) but it just feels weird to wear.2
These are adorable, and they sure do hold the hair in place. Be careful when you take them out. I love them!4
I got the white with a gray pattern and I LOVE the way they look! They're perfect for keep loose hairs up when I wear a bun, but I HATE how tight they are. It's nice that they hold the hair well, but they're difficult to open and always rip out my hair when I remove them - no matter how careful I am. I will probably continue to use these, but I wouldn't buy them.3
These pins are way too stiff, which makes them difficult to get in and out of hair. Lots of pulling, not pleasant. I would rather have regular bobby pins or hairclips over these any day.1
This product works great at holding my hair in place; however, I will not purchase this product because it is to bulky for me. I would have smaller, less noticeable hair pins.3
These are adorable and I like the large size of them, but I just don't wear my hair any way that would work with a giant bobby pin. Cute though, with the right style.1
tHEY ARE CUTE AND THEY EVEN WORK IN MY "VERY" THICK HAIR!5
I have a smallish very round head--these are large and very flat, thus they tend to jut out from my head. Also, as several other reviewers mentioned, they're very high tension, and hard to put on and take off.2
I have very fine, thin hair and these bobby pins just don't hold my hair very well. They are very pretty and are nice used as an embellishment, rather than a tool.1
