Our colleagues in the UK refer to these tress essentials as kirbies or hair grips, while in the US it’s thought their name comes from the phrase bits and bobs. Whatever you call them, bobby pins are a must-have in every beauty arsenal—and there’s no reason you need to hide them. This exclusive set of six chicly patterned pins adds instant style to all your ‘dos—display them proudly.
I have thick curly hair so small bobby pins don't normally hold well in my hair but these actually managed to keep a pretty good section of hair in it's place. My only negative is that they hard to get off and it cause some hair ripping.4
I like getting lasting products like this in the Birchbox. I got the green bobby pins, and they are cute, and I'll definitely get use out of them.5
Cute design, but I always lose bobbypins so I don't think I would pay that much for them.3
This products is okay. Just that. The pins do not have the ability to open in a wide range like a regular bobby pin, so I had to manipulate the pins prior to actually being able to place them in my hair. Once they were in the right spot they looked nice and stayed in the right spot.4
These are very cute, but I don't use bobby pins in my hair, so these may go to waste. I wish Birchbox would have sent me a twistband or something else that I could use to pull my hair back in a bun/ponytail, because I really need to keep my hair off my neck in this hot weather!4
They are wider than normal bobby pins, which I love. They stay well and the design is awesome! I just wish I had gotten more! Definitely going to buy!5
I have not tried these yet to test out if they pull on the hair, but I do very much like the green pattern on the ones I received.3
I love the colors and the style that it can bring but it pulled my hair out and was very hard to put in and take out.4
Got these in my box and was so excited to try them. They are EXTREMELY hard to open and slide into position, especially with my thick hair. I just threw them in my accessories drawer and maybe I'll give them another shot.3
I love the chic designs and do use bobby pins but there is no padding and when you try to take them out, your hair is yanked out as well. Will not purchase.1
