Our colleagues in the UK refer to these tress essentials as kirbies or hair grips, while in the US it’s thought their name comes from the phrase bits and bobs. Whatever you call them, bobby pins are a must-have in every beauty arsenal—and there’s no reason you need to hide them. This exclusive set of six chicly patterned pins adds instant style to all your ‘dos—display them proudly.
The bobby pin designs are so cute. I wish there were pink and purple ones.5
These pins have a really adorable pattern but they are a little big and have way too much tension! While they did not pull my hair, it was hard to get them in because they are so strong. They are also long and very straight so they look more like barrettes than bobby pins.1
Very cute bobby pins, but they are almost impossible to both put in and take out.3
These are oh so cute pins, however I found them really difficult to put in place. In addition, I have very fine hair and these pins were far too strong. They pulled hair out and hurt when in place.1
I really like the fact that they are understated cuteness and I can wear them at my serving job. They stay in well too. Thanks!4
These are adorable bobby pins. I have really short hair, but I like to pull the sides back and these look great! They are very sturdy as well.4
cute, simple, green. holds hair. looks stylish. perfect for summer!5
These bobby pins are fantastic! I usually cannot get bobby pins to stay in my hair but these are fantastic!5
The bobby pins are super cute. They are good for when you just want to pin your hair back, but also want it to look at little nicer.4
I was actually thrilled to see these bobby pins in my birch box this month. The pros: super cute and i haven't seen anything like them, the cons: the full set comes with only 6 bobby pins for $5.00. I use bobby pins to hold my hair in place if i clip my bangs back or put my hair up. I have fine hair and need to criss-cross in order to get them to hold. These pins don't do that very well or easily and don't stay in place on my fine hair. If you have thicker hair or curly hair they might work better, and although they are a very cute novelty item/accessory, I personally would prefer a less expensive classic bobby pin from a drug store for the purpose i need bobby pins to serve. However, thank you for the cute gift, Birch Box!4
