Our colleagues in the UK refer to these tress essentials as kirbies or hair grips, while in the US it’s thought their name comes from the phrase bits and bobs. Whatever you call them, bobby pins are a must-have in every beauty arsenal—and there’s no reason you need to hide them. This exclusive set of six chicly patterned pins adds instant style to all your ‘dos—display them proudly.
I was completely thrilled to see something reuseable in my box this month. These bobby pins are colorful and fun and add an extra pop to my hairstyle. They're larger than my normal bobby pins so I only have to use the two for my desired look.4
The pattern designs are really cute but these things just tear my hair out when I try to remove them.1
I received these in my July Birchbox. They look really cute but were too tight for my hair.2
I love the pattern but they are a bit difficult to put in. I do not typically use bobby pins but I plan on experimenting with these since the pattern (I got the green) is so cute.3
These are really cute in my hair, but they are VERY hard to get out. While I appreciate they don't slip, I do not appreciate that I rip hair out of my head every time I remove on of these bobbypins.3
I have think hair so these pins will get lost like any other pin I try to use. The design is impractical for me because no one will see it through my thick strands.2
these are nice but i was not in need of them. i like that they are snag free3
totally cute and in my favorite color-mint!! can't wait to order some!5
These bobby pins look cute but the grip is too tight for my hair. I have thinner hair and they just pulled my hair out. I'm sure they are good for thick hair but not thin.1
I like the look and hold of these pins, but they are hard to get open, I normally use my teeth to seperate bobby pins, and this material is too hard to do that...but they stay in well and are a nice alternative to bobby pins.2
