Our colleagues in the UK refer to these tress essentials as kirbies or hair grips, while in the US it’s thought their name comes from the phrase bits and bobs. Whatever you call them, bobby pins are a must-have in every beauty arsenal—and there’s no reason you need to hide them. This exclusive set of six chicly patterned pins adds instant style to all your ‘dos—display them proudly.
Love the design, color and size. Perfect for holding back flyaways and bangs in the summer heat. They are strong, too. Almost hard to get in but once pinned look great and stay all day.4
Absolutely loved this new product, I just entered into the world of bobby pins and am in love.5
These are cute I just do not use bobby pins so its not something I need1
i got the silver / white ones, and have worn them every day just about. They are bigger than usual pins and hold very tight.
well done birchbox!
I tend to use really plain, hidden bobby pins in my hair, so while I think these are adorable, I'm just not sure how I would use them. I plan to try to work them in as something different, maybe on a casual weekend day, but typically I like my hair accessories to stay hidden.3
These bobby pins are great! I can't imagine wearing them with a ponytail, and it might be a tough fit if you have thicker hair (mine's really fine), but for me these are the bee's knees.5
I received the white pins with the green design in my July 2013 Birchbox. I love how heavy and wide they are - they don't slide around in my hair like other decorative bobby pins. Also, the adorable design is perfect for summer. I will purchase the full pack and hope that they roll out new designs for every season!4
I received the blue ones and I love the design. I plan to wear them when my hair is down on either side of my head to hold my hair back.4
These Birchbox bobbypins are fun and hold hair up surprisingly well! Very durable even for my long hair.4
i prefer smaller, thinner bobby pins- they hold my hair better and can be more manageable. These were cute as a button but held only the part where the bend was and the open part my hair felt out of, so having were needed.
