Our colleagues in the UK refer to these tress essentials as kirbies or hair grips, while in the US it’s thought their name comes from the phrase bits and bobs. Whatever you call them, bobby pins are a must-have in every beauty arsenal—and there’s no reason you need to hide them. This exclusive set of six chicly patterned pins adds instant style to all your ‘dos—display them proudly.
These were stylish accessories that performed their function well. They came in a variety of colors to mix and match with.4
I have thick hair and appreciate a sturdy hair accessory -- but these are too stiff and tight. Difficult to use. Also, the bright white-backed colors don't look good in my hair. I wish they came in more neutral colors.1
This kind of bobbypin gets super stuck in my hair. I have medium thick, almost straight hair (just a light wave to it), not super tangly... but these pins tug at my hair no matter how careful I am. They look super cute though!3
These are quite pretty, but don't do a great job holding hair, this may be partially due to my fine hair, your results may vary!3
So cute to look at!...just not comfortable. So stiff that they were difficult to put in place & painful to remove!3
This bobby pin clips are really cute! I use them at work and they definitely keep my flyaway hairs in place lol really liking this pins.5
I liked how they looked and how adorable they were, but they're tough to open, and tough to take out. I definitely ripped a few hairs from my scalp trying to readjust them, and ended up giving up.2
Nice, cute, and study. Great for working out. Can't overlap them since they are very taut. Otherwise great to have and show off.4
To be completely honest and not mean (sorry birchbox!) I just really didn't like these bobby pins. They just weren't my style, and they were bulky. I have a short haircut and wearing one of these would just be too much.1
These were very difficult to open up, but they are adorable and do hold very well. Not sure I would buy again.3
