Our colleagues in the UK refer to these tress essentials as kirbies or hair grips, while in the US it’s thought their name comes from the phrase bits and bobs. Whatever you call them, bobby pins are a must-have in every beauty arsenal—and there’s no reason you need to hide them. This exclusive set of six chicly patterned pins adds instant style to all your ‘dos—display them proudly.
First off I'm obsessed with bobby pins, so this was a double plus the fact that they were cute and bobby pins! They may not work well on thin hair as they are a bit heavy!!5
They are too large and thick for my liking. Not easy to wear because they are constantly moving around. Needs better colors.3
These are really cute but they unfortunately didn't have much use to me. I'm not very good at styling my hair and I'm not sure what to do with them. I gave them to a friend and she liked them a lot though!4
I absolutely love these Birchbox Bobby Pins! The designs are adorable and add a nice touch to your hair. I highly recommend purchasing them!4
I use these all the time. They don't slide out of my ridiculously thick hair, and are very cute!! They don't look awkward when they show, because they actually tie together with whatever I'm wearing.5
I got the grey style and while they are super cute I couldn't hardly open them and get them to hold my hair in place, so I gave them to my niece for dress up.3
These bobby pins are super cute but they are painful. They are also hard to open so the combination is just awful.2
These are the best pins for holding power, and the prints are so cute! While they don't hold a ton of hair, the hair they do hold isn't gonna budge. I use them for pinning my bangs to the side to get them out of my face. My hair is thick and wavy but my 9 y/o daughters hair is fine and they hold just as well. The only thing I can find wrong with them is that they are so tight that you really have to pull them apart to get your hair out, otherwise you'll break your hair. If you put then in your kids hair make sure they know not to take them out themselves. They'll wreak havoc on their hair if you don't.4
I thought they were really nice looking, but never used them. They didn't work with my hair trends. Will keep for future hair styles.2
Pattern was adorable, but overall functionless. Barely stayed in my hair, let alone held it back. Cute in theory.2
