Our colleagues in the UK refer to these tress essentials as kirbies or hair grips, while in the US it’s thought their name comes from the phrase bits and bobs. Whatever you call them, bobby pins are a must-have in every beauty arsenal—and there’s no reason you need to hide them. This exclusive set of six chicly patterned pins adds instant style to all your ‘dos—display them proudly.
I have thinner hair, so these bobby pins are a little too strong for my hair. They are really cute and I love the patterns, but tough to get out of my hair. Ouch!2
I love these bobby pins and am still using them a year and a half later! I use them to clip back my bangs when I want them out of my face (like when I work out or wash my face) because they hold a lot of hair and stay put.5
I always love getting hair accessories in my box, since I rarely buy them for myself. I thought these were cute, and practical. I also love that they are exclusive to birchbox.5
I received the gray bobby pins in my box, they are so cute! However they are kind of strong pins for my thinner hair.2
These were a nice surprise in my box! I have really curly hair, and these definitely are not only adorable, but hold all day long! I had a couple instances where chipped paint led to a hair snag here and there, but that's only because I use them all of the time!4
These are so cute! I normally wear headbands every day but these are giving me a good excuse to mix things up a bit. They're also longer/bigger than normal bobby pins, so it worked well to keep my hair at bay.5
I really liked these bobby pins. They are so smooth and easy to use. They add just the perfect amount of cuteness to any do'.4
These are so cute, they look great in hair , but they are a pain to get out. I have hair on the fine side and when I use them to pin back my bags or the sides when I go to remove them they do not slide out- they rip and pieces of hair out. Bummer.2
These bobby pins were ok. Being close to 30, I don't feel like I can wear these out in public. But that's just my personal preference. I also noticed that the print started rubbing off so I just threw them in my drawer or maybe the trash? Can't remember. Cute idea, bad execution.1
Unless you're a teenager I see
No use for these clips! They not only slide down but the colors are awful
