Our colleagues in the UK refer to these tress essentials as kirbies or hair grips, while in the US it’s thought their name comes from the phrase bits and bobs. Whatever you call them, bobby pins are a must-have in every beauty arsenal—and there’s no reason you need to hide them. This exclusive set of six chicly patterned pins adds instant style to all your ‘dos—display them proudly.
I was really excited when I got these bobby pins because I only have the standard, boring bobby pins. It was really disappointing because they hurt (badly) when I take them out of my hair. Would not purchase.1
I didn't like these because they were too bright and didn't stay in my very thick hair. I was hoping for pins that were more neutral colors and were more versatile2
They stay in my hair but my problem is that I have a lot of curly hair and I need something that can be wide opened but I still use them just when I want to hold a little bit of hair.4
They look great in your hair however I find them difficult to get in. They do not open very much so if you have thick hair it could be difficult.5
These bobby pins have the cutest pattern and are super tough, but the only problem I had with them was that they would fall out or just wouldn't stay put in my hair. The reason for that could be because I have thick hair and that was too much hair for the bobby pins to handle.3
These might be cute on someone with really fine hair but for those of us with coarse hair, these don't hold much.3
I received a set of these pins about a year ago and still use them nearly every day. Luckily my work uniform is blue, they are perfect for work to pin my bangs back. I pin them up once in the morning and they stay put all day. These little tough pins are way worth the price.5
This was my first purchase from birchbox. The bobby pins are VERY strong and can hold a good amount of hair. Its hard for me because I love to seep my bangs back with these and show off the designs but they aren't versatile enough to hide in a bun. They are a fun purchase but not versatile enough for me.3
Work really well! i have a ton of hair so these bobby pins really work, normally they don't. They keep , hair in place so well and you don't have to keep replacing the pin.5
I really love the design of these bobby pins. But I had a really hard time getting them in my thick hair. Then when it was time to take them out I had a hard time getting them out and pulled out some of my hair.2
