We've always subscribed to the "Fake it 'til you make it" philosophy. Thankfully, on those all-to-common bleary-eyed mornings, we can turn to this brand new hydrating concealer to pretend as if we've had eight hours of shuteye. The sleek silver tube twists like a lipstick to reveal a two-in-one combo of undereye concealer and featherweight moisturizer. The crease-proof, easy-to-blend formula effortlessly masks dark circles and keeps skin hydrated for up to six hours. The creamy product provides heavy-duty coverage and instantly brightens tired-looking eyes with light-reflecting pigments. Moisturizing vitamin E and apple seed extract give the concealer its silky-smooth texture and soften fine lines. Consider us hooked.
When I saw all the positive reviews on this, I decided to buy it. I'm not very impressed. While it does a nice job of moisturizing, it's definitely not crease proof and the coverage is okay, but I've used better.3
If you're looking for an all over concealer, this does not provide great coverage. However, with that being said i am on my second tube. I keep it in my purse for a quick wakeup (fakeup ha.)
I goes on very simply, evenly and quickly and gives you a very quick appearance of fresh/awake in seconds. It is pretty thick and a little creamy - just about the consistency of lipstick.
I keep this in my purse makeup only - its an essential for me while I am on the go for emergency "need to look presentable" situations.
If I had to use only one product this would be it. My sister had it in her makeup bag so I tried it and I ordered it that day. It's moisturizing, brightens up the under eye area and has major staying power. The first day I wore it to work people said I looked more awake!5
I bought this knowing that it be light coverage, and I like that because I can put this on without using foundation and it doesn't look out of place. I probably won't buy it again though because for what it is, it's not worth the price, and the "moisture" can be a bit greasy. When it's warmer it makes my eye makeup slide a bit. Also, it's pretty stupid that they actually tried to advertise this as being "heavy-duty coverage."2
I love this product! I never wore concealer, and now whenever I am going out and want my eyes to really pop I use this. You can feel it almost like a tingle when you put it on, getting rid of fine lines and bags under the eyes and really brightening your eyes. I love it5
I love this as an everyday under-eye concealer. It doesn't give the best coverage, but I just use it for work where I sit in an office all day, so who really cares?
But what I REALLY love it for ... my lips! I love a matte, nude color which is so hard to find for my complexion. I line it with a brown (eye) pencil and sometimes top it off with a bit of clear gloss.
I'd been using a different foundation stick for the same purpose, but it was so incredibly drying. Not so with this bad boy. This is a multi-purpose staple for me.
Not sure the moisturizer here helps or hurts, but the concealer works well and stays out all day. Might go with a different brand in the future, but I'll use this one up first.4
I love the way this moisturizes under my eyes while also making them look brighter. It is the perfect match for my skin tone. Even if I'm not doing my make up for the day I throw this on to brighten my eyes.5
It's a very moisturizing and hydrating concealer, but if you're looking for a concealer that provides coverage this might not be the one for you. It's very transparent concealer, so it might be more suitable for someone with an even, nice skin under their eyes and don't need a lot of coverage to begin with.
However, unfortunately for my dark under eyes this product did not provide the (very) needed coverage. Very moisturizing though and easy and pleasant to apply.
I loved the hydration this concealer has, but I never bought it after the sample ended. It tended to enhance my lines around my eye. Coverage was okay, at best, unless I wanted to layer and layer further enhancing those lines.3
