We've always subscribed to the "Fake it 'til you make it" philosophy. Thankfully, on those all-to-common bleary-eyed mornings, we can turn to this brand new hydrating concealer to pretend as if we've had eight hours of shuteye. The sleek silver tube twists like a lipstick to reveal a two-in-one combo of undereye concealer and featherweight moisturizer. The crease-proof, easy-to-blend formula effortlessly masks dark circles and keeps skin hydrated for up to six hours. The creamy product provides heavy-duty coverage and instantly brightens tired-looking eyes with light-reflecting pigments. Moisturizing vitamin E and apple seed extract give the concealer its silky-smooth texture and soften fine lines. Consider us hooked.
This product looks great on, but I haven't used it enough to tell if it's really making a difference. I'll keep trying it out though!4
I was skeptical about this product as I already own a different Benefit concealer, but after trying this product, I need to get it. It makes the eyes light up and makes the whole face look much more fresh.5
This one just isn't for me. I have oily skin and this was just way too greasy. It was caked up in my eyelids after a couple of hours. I'll probably just stick to regular concealer.2
I literally probably own 90% of Benefit products... I am totally biased! They make the best concealers; whether it's "Fake up", "Bo-ing", or "Erase Paste" all the formulas are perfect. They each last for so long and are totally worth the price.5
I really like this concealer-- it worked nicely on my undereye circles, and it cancelled out my redness. Plus, the moisturizing ring kept this from turning my face all cakey. Thumbs-up!5
Overall a good product, I think it compares to a lot of cheaper concealers though.4
As an early 20-something with normal skin I don't think this product is necessary. I don't notice many make-up creases. However, I wanted to see if it works so I tried it on my 50-something mom. It seemed to really cover creases caused by wrinkles around the brow and eye area. So if you have a problem with make-up creases I'd say this is a 5 star product.4
I have tried other products for lightening the undereye area but usually find that they kind of get cakey and starting creasing and sticking in those creases as the day goes on. However, Fakeup felt great when it went on (not heavy feeling like most others), stayed hydrated (NOT oily) all day, and never creased up. The one downside though was that any fallout from my mascara or eyeshadow throughout the day ended up smearing something awful if I tried to wipe it away. I'm not just sure why, but it was kind of annoying to try to wipe away a fleck of whatever and end up with a dark streak suddenly. For me, this product wasn't great at covering up blemishes either. I'd consider getting it for undereye coverup if I can figure out how to keep it from smearing when anything else gets on it.4
This is a great concealer - I already own it and love it4
This product is great for under my eyes. I usually have to apply a moisturizer under my eyes before the concealer and this product is a two for one.5
