This pioneering powder gets it start as pure liquid pigment before being baked for 24 hours on a terra-cotta tile and finished by hand. The result? A long-wearing, weightless-feeling powder that’s free of added fillers. This winning blush and highlighter combo is sure to become a key player in your makeup routine. Each of the three shades has a swirl of dark and light hues that combine to give you a perfectly flushed finish. We love how they have the barest hint of sparkle—and slide on smoothly.
The color I got - Honey Dipped, looks a lot more like a bronzer than a blush. I understand (and even like, for certain looks) taupe blushes, but this is a bright sandy brown. Pink Grapefruit would have been a much more appropriate color for me, but I don't understand how Honey Dipped is supposed to be a blush regardless of the shade's suitability to my skin tone and preferences. Even if I tried using this as a bronzer (which isn't a product category I use much of at all), it's far too shimmery for a face product. I swatched some of it on the back of my hand and now it looks like a disco ball. Maybe I'll use it on my legs instead of a shimmer body lotion, just so it doesn't go to waste. Was excited about the brand and product from the description on the card in my box, but seeing it is really disappointing.1
This is the first product that I have rec'd that i felt like was not for my skin tone. I tried to use it a couple of different ways but I always had that "oh this is too light" look to it.2
Some would call me fair, but I'm just sort of colorless and so i always wear blush. It could be just the color of the sample but when I looked at the colors available I'm not sure any would be good on me. Pink Grapefruit has an iridescent quality and in some lights it looks like silver-gray flecks. I looked at it under a magnifying glass and didn't see that so it's obviously an illusion. It just made my face look dirty. It does come in a clever container that has a mirror and there was a generous amount of the sample. Maybe it would work on a very dark skinned person.2
I was given a different color than the honey, and I don't like they way it looks on my skin tone. Otherwise, I love the amount sent, the package and the shimmer.2
The color did not look good on me, I am pale skinned and it made me appear sallow.2
This bronzer is very delicate. One brush against the cake and it crumbles into a mess! I have no need for a bronzer--I'm very pale and prefer it that way--so I really didn't feel much of a loss.2
I liked the size and color of the sample but once i tried I would have to say I was disappointed . It was uneffective and did not really show up on my skin but I a Darker Skin tone girl so maybe the color just wasn't effective for my skin tone2
i didn't care for the color are the way it applied to my skin2
This color wasn't flattering on my pale skin and was quite streaky. I won't be buying this blush in the future.2
While the blush may be perfectly good for others, it's just not a good fit for me. The color is too deep and it's just waaaay too sparkly for me. It also seems to go everywhere when I put my makeup brush to it. No complaints on quality or packaging, just not the best blush for me :)2
