Laura Geller Beauty Baked Blush-n-Brighten

This pioneering powder gets it start as pure liquid pigment before being baked for 24 hours on a terra-cotta tile and finished by hand. The result? A long-wearing, weightless-feeling powder that’s free of added fillers. This winning blush and highlighter combo is sure to become a key player in your makeup routine. Each of the three shades has a swirl of dark and light hues that combine to give you a perfectly flushed finish. We love how they have the barest hint of sparkle—and slide on smoothly.

Too much glitter for blush
Sampled

The product seemed to be too glittery to use as a blush. Don't want my cheeks to look TOO glowy!

Too bitty and shimmery
Sampled

This product is far to shimmery and bitty (like chunky) to be effective. The color pay off is sub par on fair to light skin; the more you apply, the shimmery and shinier you get. It would make a nice highlighter on deep, warmer skin tones but I was not a fan. I do really like Laura Geller products so I won't judge the brand by this particular product.

Best for A Teen
Sampled

I just can't wear this, it has sparkles in it, and I am a grown woman! I think it would work best for teens or going over the top in a costume way.

Love the color but it's almost impossible to get the right amount on the brush. The tiniest bit is too bright
Sampled

Love the color but it's so concentrated you need to brush off most of it before applying to your face or you look like a clown

Nothing too exciting about this. I am not a fan of this brand so maybe that's why. If anything I will use natural products or Nars Orgasam.

Blotchity Mess
Sampled

This product sample was not a good color choice for my fair skin, but i gave it a go anyway. I could not get this product to apply evenly, even over powdered skin, even with bery little product on the brush. It just seemed to streak and blotch. After several attempts it's getting kicked to the curb.

The blush itself is pretty good - the texture, color payoff, and ability to blend are all great. But the blush I got is WAY too dark for me, it literally makes my face look dirty. And it's a little too shimmery for my tastes. I'll use it as a bronzer in the summer when I'm a little bit darker, but I honestly don't understand why they'd send colors more suited to darker skin tones when Birchbox *knows* I'm a blonde, blue eyed, super fair type :/

Brown
Sampled

Too brown for my taste and I dont like the shimmer of this product, it's unnatural looking when applied lightly and awful if applied in layers on foundation. Not going to give this one my approval unless you are dressing up for a science fiction party. That's all!

I am too old for this product. My daughter may like it but it is not my style.
