In our next life, we’d like to come back with a perfectly luminous complexion (not to mention a body like Britney Spears, circa 2000). Until then, we rely on this lightweight tinted moisturizer to give the illusion of perfect skin. The mineral-based formula, which comes in three hues—Natural, Tan, and luminzing Golden Sun—is a triple threat: It masks flaws, keeps skin hydrated, and guards against environmental damage. Now, if only we had arms like FLOTUS.
I was a bit skeptical about this before I tried it. We were going to the park with the kiddos so I didn't need something full coverage, hello I'll sweat it off running after the kids. So i tried this. I was quite the surprise!! At first it's super watery but when you put it on it goes on flawlessly, it seems as though I have full coverage. I'd say to put it on with your fingers, otherwise it gets really streaky. It didn't sweat off of me or make me feel mucky when we were at the park. Definitely a great product. But the sample size only lasted me one use. After that it was either all used up or dried out. Not sure which.5
This was way too dark for my skin tone, I suppose if you classify your skin tone as olive then that's what you get. The texture was very watery and didn't rub in well. It also had a shimmer, which is not something I want my skin to have.1
I have always had an issue with having an even tone on my face and never really tried to fix it. Now that I have birch-box coming to me I get the change to try new things, and I love this product because it did an excellent job at evening my tone!5
I really like this for extra coverage at night. It really helps to hide any red spots/acne marks.4
did find it something i would use everyday get the job done but i prefer another product just because it doesnt make me break out1
I thought this product was really watery and didn't have any noticeable effect on my skin. It wasn't particularly moisturizing and I still ended up using my normal mineral powder over it. The sample also didn't dispense the product properly - I had to unscrew the cap to access the product.2
It did not go on easily and my face looked shiny; I'll stick with my drugstore brand.2
In my monthly birchbox, I was sent the tan shade of this and it looked horrible on my skin. It was way too dark for my complextion and if I had actually put it all over my face, it would have looked like I got a bad spray tan.2
I was not impressed with the sample. I found it to be very watery, and I didn't find it particularly hydrating. The sample color was also too dark and gave an almost orange-y glow to my face, which I didn't like.1
I didnt like the texture or color of this product. It was a little to dark and didnt spread evenly.2
