Transforming robots are the coolest—we can all agree on that. But keeping an Optimus Prime figurine on your desk? Probably not the best way to score a promotion. Opt instead for this Rubik’s Cube-like robot, inspired by Japanese Shinto Kumi-ki puzzles. Its hardwood frame can hold any number of poses—and when big clients come by the office, simply fold into an unassuming cube, and no one’s the wiser.
Will be a great addition to my desk. Packaged really well and would make a great gift but I bought this for myself.5
I was a little stumped this last Christmas on what to get my fiancé for his stocking stuffers. I was browsing here on birchbox and stumbled across this little gem! My fiancé is a huge fan of the Rubiks cube, so I thought this would be a clever, similar item. He LOVES it (and so does everyone else)! There are a few different ways to solve it, and as many times as he has put it back and forth from robot to cube, it still is holding up strong. A fun conversation piece, too, for guests! I will definitely keep this item in mind for future gifts.5
I bought this as a gift for my young nephew for Christmas, and it is adorable, but I want to give you a warning-do not take it out of the box if you want to give it as a gift. I wanted to see what the man looked like, then I couldn't get it back in because it is a puzzle. I even asked other people to try to put it back, but they couldn't either! He is still getting as a gift, but in a gift bag, not the original box.5
We love Cubebot. In fact, we named him IAN and he sits above the bed. This toy is fun for all ages and I definitely recommend it.5
I bought this for a gift. It is a lot smaller then I was expecting but it is still super cute and was well received!4
My husband isn't a father yet, but I wanted to let him know I appreciated him on father's day and bought him this little treat. He immediately fell in love with it and took it to his office to use on his desk. High quality, great price, just enough to let a person know you were thinking about them.
One side note...don't figure it out before the person you give it to! It made my hubby a bit peevish that he worked on it for 15 minutes and I popped it right into place in about a minute.
I got this as a present for my husband, who loves wooden puzzles and tchotchkes for his office. The Cubebot is great! We fiddle with it all the time - it's fun to put it in different poses and putting it back into a cube form is surprisingly challenging.5
I got this little wooden robot for a Christmas present. It's a great puzzle/office tchotchke that you can play with from time to time while taking a mental break from work.5
this little wood robot is the coolest little thing to play with were i work plus it distracts me too5
I love this little guy. I'm an artist and love using it as a puzzler while I'm thinking or to use in lieu of one of the generic wooden models you always see. Made of sustainable materials, small enough for a kid (or full-grown man) to carry around, and versatile in its positions. Price is right, too!5
