All too often, style and substance are mutually exclusive—it’s rare that the stuff that gets the job done also looks good doing it. One exception to the rule: the contents of this sleek matte black bottle. The hydrating formula goes on smooth and helps protect your skin while allowing for a close, clean shave. This superlubricating cream will also wash off the blade a lot easier than heavier and denser shaving agents.
I've tried using this stuff three times before just giving up. I think the biggest problem I've had is that it doesn't really offer good coverage for me. I have to use sooooo much more than I did for any other sample or with the other shaving creams I use/have used in the past.1
This stuff was OK. Definitely nowhere near as good as the Proraso shave cream that came with the box a month earlier. After using a new razor with each, the Proraso gave a much cleaner, smoother shave. The Go247 was fine, but I wouldn't pay a premium for it.3
I'm amazed at how far a little of this shave cream can go. It doesn't foam up when you rub it together in your hands. It doesn't need to. It goes on in an oily lather, which seems at first like you should apply more cream, but trust me, a quarter-size squeeze is all you need.
I'm probably four shaves into the sample bottle, with plenty to go, and have used the same blade...and they're the four best shaves of this guy's life.
This product gives a nice shave, but every time I used it, my face felt dry and a tad irritated afterwards. It definitely has to be used with a moisturizer. Overall good product.3
My thick facial hair is too much for this product. I prefer to use shave gels that lather well; the consistency of this product was too thin and a lot like lotion. It wasn't effective at all for me.1
Not bad at all. Smells okay, but personally I prefer a shaving cream that lathers a bit more than this does.3
This shaving cream has a nice texture, but it is far too thin and does not lather well. I prefer my Art of Shaving products way more to this.1
It's not a bad product, it got the job done, however I couldn't use my badger brush because the shaving cream wouldn't foam up. I like foaming shave cream better.2
This product is just okay. I think there are better shave creams on birchbox, so look in a different direction.3
This is a great shave cream it really is that simple. If you like one thats foamy this is not for you. However, it does a great job mixed with a little warm water and a scruffy face. I often get shaving bumps and irritation (I have had a pretty full beard for 10 years) but with this stuff my face was clean, well maintained, and it felt soft.4
