All too often, style and substance are mutually exclusive—it’s rare that the stuff that gets the job done also looks good doing it. One exception to the rule: the contents of this sleek matte black bottle. The hydrating formula goes on smooth and helps protect your skin while allowing for a close, clean shave. This superlubricating cream will also wash off the blade a lot easier than heavier and denser shaving agents.
This is a great product that holds up against many of the other top tier brands. Good coverage and comfort.5
Nice shave cream. I don't shave often, I have a beard, just use it to trim up a little bit. But this product does the trick.5
I liked this, but felt like I wasn't getting a super close shave. Scent is great and easy to apply.3
I like this stuff. Gets the job done. Has a nice scent. But that's about it. Nothing to rave about for me but no complaints either.4
I am still trying to finish off the sample provided to me.
It does not work as effectively as others that I have used.
I am sure it has its place for others though.
Quick, easy, non oily -- a great pickup for shaving cream in a world of way too many choices. Goes on nice and slick and makes the face feel comfortable afterwards. I approve this product, however I'd lean towards the PRORASO shaving cream instead.4
This stuff has a really soft, nice, subtle scent. It doesn't take much to get a lot of lather and it makes for a smooth shave.4
This shave cream smells great, but doesn't lather or provide and sort of razor glide beyond what I get from my preshave product. I had so many cuts after trying it the first time that I tossed it before finishing the sample.1
The product is ok, but is not my favorite out of those I have sampled. There are many other shaving products that I would rather use. For instance, Proraso shaving cream is cheaper and creates a better lather3
I typically use Art of Shaving cream when I do shave and am really basing my review on the comparison between the two products. This cream really just didn't feel substantial and I felt that I was basically shaving with nothing on my face.
Maybe that's what the makers were trying to go for but I felt worried that I'd be doing harm to my skin shaving that way and I ended up just washing it off and putting on my regular cream to finish off.
