A good body lotion is hard to find. Too oily, too sticky, too thick—the list goes on and on. Lucky for us, Caldrea has been perfecting its body care line for a decade (yes, a decade!). This nourishing body lotion comes in three signature scents: Aloe Water Apricot, a modern white musk with floral notes; Tea Olive Lime, a green citrus scent with vanilla and orchid; and Coconut Fig Leaf, which is fresh and exotic with top notes of white fig, plum, and coconut.
This lotion is nice and light, absorbs quickly, but you can still feel the moisture on your skin. I got the Coconut Fig Leaf scent, and I LOVE the scent! It smells mostly like warm and sweet fig, with just a slight scent of coconut to complement everything (I was worried it would concentrate on the coconut scent).5
I love receiving lotion samples, as I am particular about the lotion I use. I don't enjoy lotions that feel greasy after application, and that contain unnecessary chemicals. This lotion is awesome-- no greasy feeling afterwards, and the smell was also nice. I received the Aloe Water Apricot lotion, but I also received the Tea Olive Lime body wash in the same birchbox, and I definitely enjoyed the Tea Olive Lime scent much better. Because I loved this lotion, I really want to buy it in the body wash scent I loved-- Tea Olive Lime. Can't wait to order it!4
This was pretty standard lotion. It moisturized, but the apricot smell was kind of fake and overwhelming when coupled with the floral notes.3
Caldrea Body Lotion in Tea Olive Lime is effective at moisturizing and has a nice hand feel when applied (lotion and smooth, not greasy). Personally, however, I do not care for the scent.3
Smell was decent, but nothing special. What I really didn't like was the clammy, tacky way it made my hands feel after I had rubbed it in.2
I like trying different lotions and this one was nice but a little more than I would spend. I was less enthused about the body wash3
Though this product smelled great out of the bottle, it didn't transfer to my skin, even in the subtle way that I hoped it would. Didn't moisturize my skin really, sad to say. Too expensive as well.2
This is a nice, lightweight lotion that absorbs easily and isn't at all greasy. It smells really great, and I'm generally really picky about the way my stuff smells. It's a light and fresh scent. I wish it lasted longer.... maybe a perfume should be in the works?5
I enjoy the smell. It's not very strong and the lotion goes on smoothly. I usually have a pretty bad reaction to fragrant lotion but this one did not irritate my skin at all.4
This is a great lotion. I'm looking forward to buying it. the Aloe Water Apricot scent is lovely and the lotion is moisturizing without being to heavy or greasy. Loved this sample.5
