A good body lotion is hard to find. Too oily, too sticky, too thick—the list goes on and on. Lucky for us, Caldrea has been perfecting its body care line for a decade (yes, a decade!). This nourishing body lotion comes in three signature scents: Aloe Water Apricot, a modern white musk with floral notes; Tea Olive Lime, a green citrus scent with vanilla and orchid; and Coconut Fig Leaf, which is fresh and exotic with top notes of white fig, plum, and coconut.
My sample of this product was kind of strange. The consistency of the lotion of like very small curd cottage cheese. It wasn't particularly gross and the "curds" were clearly lotion that had just clumped a bit. It hadn't gone bad or anything. That being said, I was not terribly impressed by this product. It was a standard, fragranced moisturizer.1
I like the fact that it smells clean and great scent for summer , also absorbs quickly4
I really like this lotion. The smell is very pleasant. It goes on light and absorbs quickly.5
Loved my sample, wish it was bigger then a foil sample though.5
I liked this lotion, moisturizing and nice smell but I wish the sample was a bit mroe portable so I could have taken it on a recent trip.4
I love that Birchbox included both the Body Wash and the Body Lotion (No. 3 Coconut Fig) in the same box so that they could be tried together. However, the body wash sample came in a bottle that was 1oz and sufficient for several tries but the body lotion came in a foil packet was .25 oz. It really was only enough for one full use. Even if I wanted to use it again, it would have been awkward to save it. It would have been nice to have been in similar packaging as the body wash. The lotion is fine. I would have like another opportunity to sample it.5
Light weight, but fully hydrating. Great light scent.5
This product smells good and goes one smooth. Maybe a little greasy for me though. But you can't have enough lotion in summertime. Packaging could be better more like their body wash sample.4
I received the Aloe apricot lotion. The lotion works great, it is silky yet dries without that slimy feeling, which was great.
However, the smell was not to my liking. I really wanted to like it, but it is just too bizarre.
I'd suggest getting the tea olive, I only smelled the body wash and it was fine, nothing overpowering.
I liked this product, it had a nice scent and felt nice on your skin4
